This book took me on a journey to build my freestyle stroke with clear explanations, diagrams and training cues. It always focuses on moving the body as it should move and, by doing so, eliminates injury. This is my swimming bible from now on!

I had so many aha moments while reading. I started freestyle swimming in 2023 and got frustrated after a while. Took a workshop which didn't help at all. But finally I came across a coach who was working with elements of the SwimMastery technique. That's when I started to dive deeper into information on the SwimMastery website, and I got hooked! It simply feels so much better now when I swim. And I never get bored in the pool since there is always something to work on and improve. This book gives tons of background info on swimming technique, on how to make it your own, but also on learning processes. Plus: A fantastic read and lots of helpful photos and diagrams.
