Magic: The Gathering Bloomburrow Bundle - 9 Play Boosters, 30 Land Cards + Exclusive Accessories

I havent bought magic in a long time, but something about this new block appealed to me. I love the Secret of Nimh style its got going for it and the price for this box is really good, considering packs go for 5.98 at walmart. I did the math, and with the promo price, its about $4 per pack and you also get cool dice, small poster, and a really nice durable card box with the otter wizards design. I drew a foil otter planeswalker ral and a normal alania out of the 9 packs, so its already worth the price. My favorite duocolor deck theme is red and blue, so this is like my dream come true. Back in the day I ran izzet, noggles, and now it looks like otters are gonna be my new thing. Overall a good day, now bring me a worthy opponent so I may crush them like a clam on my tummy (south park reference xD).

So, I have been struggling liking magic since the 90s. I had friends who tried to get me into it and just never clicked.. but I got drawn in with Bloomburrow and now I am a huge fan. I love the art, and it has rats! My favorite animal! This bundle did a good job of giving me a box to start out with and a bunch of boosters. I really cannot complain about any of it other than I can't wait for Bloomburrow to be revisted

The bloomburrow release was not as fun as I thought it would be, I am not an avid MTG player though. Not many exciting cards and the foil lands in this set were poor quality. I have seen strange quality differences between releases over the past few years, don't really know what that is about.

just really love the artwork for this set. are the cards you pull from the regular play boosters worth the price of the fatpack?? nope! not at all. but i really liked the artwork for this set so i had to get a fatpack for this set. hasbro/wizards have basically made it to where the only value is from the collector boosters and to be honest i don't really see those having enough value to warrant the price of each pack or even for a box.

Bought this bundle about a month ago for my girlfriend. Bundle arrived in mint condition which was great to see from Amazon. NO DAMAGE! Upon opening the bundle she pulled several high value cards that paid for the bundle and then some. Might have been good luck but none the less I am pleased I was able to get a great gift for a good price here on Amazon. All cards were in mint condition and ready to sleeve. Thanks for reading.

As always, if there are specific cards you want, don't buy a bundle. Now that that's out of the way, this was a great set, full of cute critters and a great way to get younger players interested in MTG. At the time I purchased, this bundle worked out cheaper than buying the same amount of play boosters individually, plus you get a spindown, and some nice lands. Value fluctuates over time, it's always worth checking the individual booster price. Overall, Hasbro could reduce the packaging size on these - like many people, I don't keep the boxes that the cards come in, and the external cardboard is only useful for protecting the internal cardboard.
