I have used these before, they are a quick and easy way to freshen and clean your toilet

These blocks are very effective, and do remove limescale and 'bits'. I put one in the toilet cistern, another in the loo, and leave them as long as possible (8 hrs is fine). They restore order, in a way ordinary blocks don't. I don't use them all the time, just once a month is valuable though.

We have a Closomat toilet which we have been told (by their installer) not to use bleach based cleaning products in. Limescale still builds up in the toilet bowl and gets discoloured and was infuriating me because none of the "non-bleach" products I tried were up to the task. In the end, I threw caution to the wind and took a punt with these Harpic Power Plus Deep Cleaning Toilet Tablets. If I throw one in the loo at night and let it stand overnight then flush first thing in the morning they do help to reduce the limescale and staining in the loo. That's the best I could ask for and the Closomat installer who does the annual check hasn't complained about any damage to the mechanicals inside the toilet bowl so this product must be safe. They're not instant or perfect but they are better than nothing!

These are the best tablets to use on toilets that have limescale/staining issues. I live in a very hard water area. Pop one in before bed and in the morning the limescale is gone. Can be used on neglected toilets too which I have done in a rental property. Might need to use more than one but it will greatly reduce the need for scrubbing. Great value.

Works very well, maybe a little pricey, but zero effort so fair enough.
