Mens Tech Tapered Shorts

I have been searching for a new affordable pair of running shorts for a while. I have used UA SpeedPocket Shorts for years and they are starting to look like it. Outside of those my mian pair are Brooks Sherpa's due to the snug phone pocket and tons of space for my gels. I took a chance on these when i saw the inside phone pocket that was incorporated into the right hip pocket. From the get go, the fabric was the first impressive part. Lightweight and moisture wicking for sure. Exactly what you'd want in a high quality pair of shorts. I have a usual waist of 31-32" and the medium was snug but not tight. I think a Large would have been too big. I love the 5" length, short and breathable, but not blinding cars with my pale thighs. I wasn't sold 100% on the phone packet during my runs, as it does tend to bounce a bit more than I'd like. Slow casual runs are fine, but when i get into speed drills or tempo runs it becomes pretty noticeable. Never did I think it would fall out, just didn't like the constant patting against my thigh. The waistband is very comfortable, and the internal drawstring does a great job of getting rid of any looseness left. I enjoy the side pockets and the phone pocket a lot. If I had 1 upgrade to it, it would be to add a small key fob pocket somewhere. Otherwise I am confident that these will give me many miles and years of running.

Bought for my husband. Great quality and they are very soft. His only complaint is that they run a bit small. We bought a 34, because thats what he wears, and they were very snug.

I snagged 2 of the black shorts while they were on sale. My size will vary from small to medium depending on the designer. I opted to try the small for gauging and they seemed to fit just right around hip area but a slight tightness around the waist! I dont have a big butt so I fill these out discreetly without appearing baggy. The material is comfortable (includes liner) with room to stretch depending on your body type. I am definitely going to purchase more now that I have a good idea of the fit and try the medium next round. Overall, Im pleased and would recommend.

Love these shorts. I bought the 5” for me (female) and the unlined 7” for my husband. As a new pickleball player I was looking for something that wouldn’t be to hot. I love the mesh lining which means I don’t need to wear another layer underneath. So far I’m finding the Under Armour sizing very consistent and the sizing charts online are good. I bought 6 pieces for Christmas between me and my husband and didn’t have to return any. Also I like the colour names.

I’ve been wearing the under armour launch shorts for about 10 years now and over about four different versions. I keep coming back to them because they have a great liner, nice simple hand pockets that hold a phone on the run and a good price. This new version has a vastly improved waistband from previous years. Most shorts in this price range have the scrunchy bunchy elastic waist but these new ones have a band that you usually only see in $80 shorts. One of my other favourite features is the built in phone pocket within the hand pocket. It’s still easy to change a song on the run, but it keeps it nice and secure with very little bounce or pendulum effect. Overall I’m super happy.
