I want to preface this by saying we enjoyed the product so much we purchased it twice, which is why the clasp issue is such a shame! The first collar was gifted to my boy Loki by my mum in late 2020 / early 2021. It looks gorgeous, is easy to adjust, the material feels soft and comfortable yet also hardy, and overall the collar has an expensive, high-quality feel to it. Unfortunately, earlier this year, in April (2022), the clasp broke. Now, at that point my dog had been wearing this collar everyday for nearly a year and a half, so I was very impressed by its durability, and decided to purchase it again. This time around tho, barely one month later, the clasp has broken yet again in the exact same way. That said, I still believe this is a wonderful product, especially considering the price range! Would have given it a perfect score if it weren’t for the dodgy clasp.

This is a lovely soft leather collar and looks more expensive than it is. The adjuster is smooth, although i wonder if it will get too loose over time and the metal fixings are well made. The only thing is the D ring for the tag is not fixed near the clasp it's fixed to move with the adjuster? . The clasp naturally being heavier sits underneath the dog's neck, but the d ring is attached somehow to the adjuster part, so your dog's tag is often halfway up its neck or wherever your adjuster is, not hanging underneath. This seems a strange design fault. It's a shame otherwise it would be perfect.

Great quality and great quick release, very well made, my only gripe is the smell, hopefully it will go as time goes by. I would hate to have to return it as it really is a lovely well made collar. its not the smell of leather more of an untreated smell. Will report back as time goes by.I would like to add that it is now just under 2 months since we started using this collar. The brass clip that holds the size you select in place, no longer stays firmly in place, so the collar is no longer staying in the size position,This is very dangerous, yesterday our dog pulled out of the collar and ran free. Luckily we were in the middle of a field so no harm came to him, I dread to think of what could have happened had we been in the street with cars passing by. We examined the collar and found the problem lies with the clip that is now loose and no longer stays in position. We would now NOT RECOMMEND this collar and feel it should be taken off the market.

Just ordered my second 1 of these.... Not because the first 1 broke (bought over 2 years ago!!!), Just because it's in need of a refresh.The first 1 is still going and very sturdy. It's served my strong labrador well! The quality is brilliant.Definitely recommend these collars to anyone.

Really liked this collar so bought it having bought one previously for my mothers dog. Well made, nice leather that is softening up. The reason for only four stars is that the clasp does not always close tightly. One of the sides does not always push home so now have to check each time it’s fitted. It hasn’t pulled open during a walk thank goodness.

Bought this one 3 years ago but it broke of wear and tear so looked it up again and very pleased that they still sold them. Well worth the money
