I really like this. Short of spending untold amounts on an organic or natural mattress, there's little alternative to keeping your baby from sleeping on vinyl. Most of the mattress pads I saw were lined with vinyl or very thin and didn't provide much of a buffer between my baby and the vinyl lining on her mattress. This provides that natural sleeping surface I'm looking for, and it lets her skin breathe, as opposed to sleeping on vinyl and sweating. I'm not sure it really helps keep her warm in the winter, as the description claims, but it definitely creates a cushioned, snuggly topper that makes her cozy (I'm no authority, but it's not so fluffy that I have safety concerns; I started using this when she was ~4mo old).Cleaning is a breeze in the washer and I hang it dry. I use a wide comb to fluff the wool afterward, but it may not even be necessary. If you put it in the dryer on no heat, it would probably work the same.Bottom line- I would definiteyly recommend it and I'm glad I got it. It makes the mid-range mattress we bought seem like a very high-end mattress. :)

We have a wool mattress pad like this one on our bed and absolutely love it, so when it came time to make up the baby's bed, it was a no-brainer. This is a high-quality product that is really worth the price. It regulates body heat as well as being a soft and all-natural layer between the mattress and the baby. I have put a more traditional water-resistant pad directly on the mattress to protect it, and then this on top of that. Add a nice soft velour crib sheet, and naps and nighttime sleep are long and peaceful. Any parent of an infant should be able to get behind that. Couldn't be happier.

The mattress pad is unbelievably soft and comfy for my granddaughter. The only flaw I can find is that it does get matted down so every couple of days we remove the sheet cover and fluff up the wool.

Bought as a baby gift because I have a king size one. The baby loved it, the parents loved it, and bought themselves a king one too!! Super nice and adds so much comfort!!

Literrally. This pad really do stinks. It smells like a petting zoo. Tried washing it and am currently airing out outside. I'm on day 2 now of airing it out and it still stinks. Not sure if I want to put this on my baby's bed smelling like a stinky animal. Makes me wonder if it has ticks and fleas too...

This mattress cover makes my son's crib mattress very soft and comfortable. It fit the mattress well and is easy to put on and take off.
