Sorry, I have only used FPPF 00342 (90342) SBG - 32 OZ. Bottle, Treats 1000 GALLONS of Diesel Fuel PER Bottle for my home oil tank, which works great.

Do you only add it before a refilling? Or can you use it in a half (or more) full tank if you begin to notice signs of sludge impact?

If you're experiencing problems from sludge, put the entire bottle in now. I use an entire bottle with a refill of 400+ just to keep ahead of any sludge. If you are not seeing problems use the recommended amount compared to your delivery amount.
