Excellent Gaming Upgrade
The Ryzen 7 5700X3D is a fantastic upgrade for AM4 systems. With 8 cores, 16 threads, and massive 3D V-Cache, it delivers excellent gaming performance, smooth 1% lows, and great multitasking. Features like Full HD boost clocks, HDR, and PCIe 4.0 support make it versatile. No cooler included, and you’ll need a dedicated GPU, but overall it’s a high-performance, cost-effective CPU that’s perfect for gamers wanting a strong upgrade without changing their motherboard.

Great performance
This X3D processor only has one CCD which means it will just work out of the box, you don't need to install additional features via chipset drivers. Performance in games was improved. I'd say I got about a 30 to 50 % boost in frame rates on my Radeon 6800 XT over my old 3700X CPU. My wife's PC had my old 2700X with an Intel B580. The 5700X3D was a huge upgrade on her PC & massively increased performance. It has literally doubled frame rates, so massive success. Great processor & great price at the time of purchase. I bought these several months ago & stability & temperature are great. These will stretch out AM4 for a good while longer so not a lot of cost for fair boost in performance.

AM$ lives forever
OK, at some point it will become obsolete but it's the longest lived CPU socket of all time. It's from 1996 before even the RYZEN was available, you could install an Athlon. This is the lower power version on the game changing RYZEN 7 5800X3D. The X3D technology is astonishing. It adds a huge amount of CPU cache which has a dramatic effect on the rate games update the screen, Frames Per Second or FPS. It also means you don't need super expensive RAM. DDR4 3200 is fine, no need to overclock or tweak fiddly 3600 RAM. This is weird because 5800X without the cache is a faster CPU as is the 5900X but the X3D version beats them. There is a premium for the X3D process or but this new 5700X3D which runs slightly slower is quite a bit cheaper. Right now it's cheap enough to make building a brand new AM4 system make sense. It's a no brainer to stick the X3D into an existing AM4 system but it's been a bit of a tossup whether to build a new AM4 or go brand new AM5. I've been saying AM5 rather than AM4 if you want top performance but it's really not so clear. I've got my hands on a 5700X3D which I will install tomorrow. I'll come back and let you know how it goes. If you have the money then it's better to go AM5 but if you want very good performance for your money then this 5700X3D is probably it.

Excellent final upgrade for the AM4 socket
Upgraded from a 5600x to the 5700X3D. Huge boost in gaming performance, especially in the 1% low FPS. The CPU runs as cool as the 5600x did, so I was able to keep using my cheap Thermalright Assassin King 120. Sadly reports are that this CPU has reached end of life and will no longer be made. If you can still get hold of this CPU and use your PC primarly for gaming, it's well worth the upgrade if you don't want to spend on a new AM5 board.

A solid cpu
While the 5800x3d is the goat of AM4 gaming cpu's it also costs an insane amount of money, the 5700x3d is without a doubt the best AM4 gaming cpu option in 2025 and potentially 2026 depending on how the market goes, for price to performance it is unbeaten as of today, it isn't as good as the 5800x3d but on the generious side its only about 20% better, more likely less. You will need an aftermarket cpu cooler but a single rad noctua cooler will easily sort it, the Thernaltake Phantom Spirit dual rad cpu cooler would crush the cooling. It's a good cpu that will last for years and extend the life of an aging AM4 system, the market is very unstable right now though so if it costs too much just get a Ryzen 5 5600, its not an x3d chip with the 96mb L3 cache but it's imo the next solid cpu for the price point.

Blazingly fast and super reliable
AM4 has been a staple in the computing industry and this CPU is another example of their reliability and prowess. I intend to ride this product into the sunset. This product should hold up for quite a good few years until AM6's inevitable release. Regardless, I love this product because it provides a fantastic price to performance ratio and is more than capable for a gaming, streaming and work machine. The maximum power consumption is hardly ever met as I don't ever need to put this CPU under direct heavy loads, but it'll handle whatever is thrown at it without a hitch. It also provides a reliably fast experience for any modern GPU. The improvements a CPU upgrade made in this department upgrading from a Ryzen 5 5600G was pretty substantial enough to warrant the price. I have no complaints whatsoever. Good product. Good brand.

Marked increase in games for speed
Healthy increase in general speed over my Ryzen 5 5600 , runs quite a bit warmer but decent air cooler counteracts this . Significant increase in games FPS in Cyberpunk up 70%. Cracking processor for the price

Renewed my AM4 build
This has been a really good processor in the time I've owned it. Bought to replace my old 3700x. It is a big uplift in performance in Valorant up to 400-500 fps to meet the requirements of my 480hz OLED monitor as I was only getting around 200-280before. Not only this but 1% lows and stutters reduced massively across the board using different applications and games. Bringing a few more years of life in my slowly aging AM4 build, might make it till next gen.

AM6+? AM7+ ou AM8+?

Upgraded to this from a 5600X and I love it, slight performance increase but a noticeable difference. But If you are looking to upgrade though I would recommend attempting to find a 5800X3D instead, they are hard to come by nowadays but if you don’t plan on upgrading to AM5 anytime soon it would be worth hunt and the extra cost for the performance that CPU gives.

Deffinitely a last upgrade option for AM4 besides the 5800x3d but well worth the price. If you want to squeeze out the last drop of performance from an AM4 build this chip is one of the best options. It drives my 4080 Super pretty well at 1440P in any game. No complaints.
