Needed one of these so I can use an SSD for my laptop for music software. Seriously so handy to have and if I ever need anything from the laptop to pc, I just plug it straight into my pc. Great value for money as well and very durable.

Works okay

overall the product is perfect and exactly what it says it is. its had a good transfer speed (for HHDs at least I haven't tried SSDs yes). Its extremely simple and easily to use. Just slide it in, close it up and plug it in. that's all. great product and great price considering it uses USB C connection unlike other similarly priced external hard rive bays. I would like to warn. it may be due to just the specific one I bought but it became unstable and died after only 2 months of use. However they sent me a replacement almost immediately. Absolutely amazing customer support.

Ive used this to rehouse a 1Tb HDD from a USB 3 enclosure. Transfer is now fast and positive. The plastic housing may not be as robust as a metal equivalent but I'm keeping this drive in a desk drawer so no worries there. additinally, I can easily see the details of the HDD through the plastic.

Very nice item at a very good price , my ssd memory fitted perfectly, the wire that comes with it on the ssd side is a type C USB to a type A USB there is a little blue light that comes on when you plug it in , the only problem I had was opening the enclosure , so what you need to know , put the enclosure facing up with the C slot facing your body about halfway down put your thumb on the top and your other fingers on the back then push the front cover down away from you , the front cover slides off about an inch from the top , you need to slide the cover off don't press to hard on the body it just slides off , there are instructions but they are inside , yes I know what your thinking

I have purchased few of this and I have also recommended few of my friends to buy this as this absolutely works well. Easy to slide the SSD in and close it. Anyone can do it and best part is, USB-C and the speed it copies files is amazing. So, surely 5 star.

Bought this today, plugged in a hard drive from an old laptop and it did not work on my Windows 11 laptop.... but ... the old laptop was a Linux flavor, I used "DISKPART" on my Windows laptop to re-partition and reformat the hard drive into a file system that Windows recognizes and now it works perfectly. The cable could be longer.

Mine didn't work. It could be the hard drive, I don't know, but it didn't work.

Niets op aan te merken

Ich hatte schon mehrere Festplattengehäuse für 2,5" Platten. Darunter auch Wechselplattengehäuse. Die haben im täglichen Gebrauch jedoch sehr schnell am USB Micro B Anschluss geschwächelt. Dieses Gehäuse hat einen einfachen USB-C Anschluss, der nun schon sehr lange ohne Probleme seinen Dienst tut. Der Platteneinbau ist auch sehr einfach. Aktuell ist eine 1TB Platte drin. Läuft problemlos und das für einen kleinen Preis. Klare Empfehlung!

Vengono fornite anche le istruzioni e un biadesivo per fissare il disco. Finora non ho trovato difetti, è da valutare la durabilità.

Parfait. Fonctionne correctement. Pas de soucis pour installer mon disque HDD. Pensez à initialiser votre disque dur pour que Windows le reconnais. (windows+R puis tapez dans la fenêtre: diskmgmt.msc) si il est neuf ou pour le formater.
