I love this album, I bought after watching a Classic albums show. This has turned out to be the best album that I have purchased for a very long time. Even though it over 50 years old it still sounds fresh.

The name of Gil - Scott Heron was listed among others on BOBBY WOMACK, Bravest Man in The Universe.I noticed this not long ago and that was the main reason I began to discover who was GIL-SCOTT HERON.After reading a lot of articles and trying some short samples I decided to order this item - PIECES OF A MAN/What a stunning album indeed!!!... Gatefold sleeve (acording to discogs.com - look like original release of 1971). Sound quality of this 180g Vinyl remaster is superb!!!Music itself reminds me at the same time of Wayne Shorter, Curtis Mayfield, Hendrix, Bill Withers, Stevie Wonder, Delfonics, early Steely Dan and Bobby Womack. In the vein of the most influential (for decades) examples of Jazz,Soul, R'n'B of the late sixties and early seventies. The poetry touched by NY urban lifestyle of that era and definitely by Martin Luther King....and man, your music is really funky.Timeless Classic!

Nice along with a cup of herbal tea. Can't go wrong with a steaming pot between friends.

C'est un superbe album mais je viens de payer 33€ pour un album dont la face B grésille alors que c'est un album neuf.De plus, le vinyl est mal coupé. Il y a un gros morceau en trop.Bref, fuyez!
