Excellent value for the price. The shoulder strap is a bit short so you might want to save the one from your old case Perfect weight for an older player but may not be rugged enough for the rigors of youth orchestra bus trips

It's lightweight and does the job. My other violin case from Fiddlershop is far more cushioned and makes me feel like everything is protected. Everything in this case feels rigid. The violin cutout is too large for my 4/4 violin and I worry about it sliding around. That wouldn't be a problem if it was cushioned. The hygrometer hasn't changed from 70 since I received it, but fortunately I have a GoVee wireless hygrometer that I didn't need in my other, functioning case, so I put that in this one. I learned that I could only store the top bow if it's inverted, so I can live with that. Overall, for the money, I can live with it. I think I'll just put my less expensive violin in this one and use the nicer case for the nicer violin.

Got for granddaughter. She really liked. Good construction. Easy to carry. Room for music.

Very light case and lots of cushion for the violin
