Tough, Durable, Recyclable Plastic Bags
I'm very happy with the quality, thickness, texture, and good seal of these bags. They stand up on a square bottom when you need to fill them with liquid, and once they are closed, they lay perfectly in the freezer, not taking up too much space—very efficient. I also plan to use them for sous vide since the quality of plastic seems excellent for those conditions. I have also put one in the microwave, but I would probably monitor how long it is in. Overall, it was a good investment.

Reusable gallon storage bags
Fast service and really nice reusable bags. These bags are not whimpy like some reusables. They double seal and cleanup is easy as they can go in the dishwasher or hand wash. I chose hand wash. I purchased the gallon size and they work well for freezing biscuits or storing veggies. I will buy again.

Nice quality
So far all I’ve done is bag my freezer meals. Next week I start using them so I’ll see how it works as far as freezer burn over the course of the month. They zipped well. Really like the double zip. They are also very sturdy and fit enough for a full crockpot meal for my family of 6.

ZIP PRESS CLOSURE IS HARD TO SHUT PROPERLY.
These bags I've found are extremely difficult to close shut. The zips don't like to line up together and even worse the 2 zips are quite a distance apart from each other, so if you have small hands like me you cannot use your thumb to press close both at the same time like you would with a normal disposable ziplock bag. Takes a really long time to zip shut properly and hurts your hands.I'm thinking maybe this is an issue with putting them in the dishwasher as I saw another reviewer who says they hand wash them saying they're easy to close. Maybe the zip gets warped in the dishwasher even if it doesn't melt the bag.Another issue, depending on your dishwasher the dishwasher spray may push the bags off of your dishwasher racks while running, so when you go to open the dishwasher after they will be flopped over with a bunch of water still in them. The ones that remain on the rack still have some dishwasher liquid/moisture inside and I would recommend rinsing them out under the sink then putting them on a tall zip lock bag drying rack to fully air dry inside. You may have to try putting them in different orientations in your dishwasher to avoid being sprayed up and off the little pegs.Another note is that the instruction paper they give you with them saying its best to hand wash, but that if you are using the dishwasher you should run your dishwasher like normal without them in it then right when it's done open the dishwasher so you can see where the hottest parts of your dishwasher are and avoid putting the bags there during runs. It also says you should not use the heat setting to dry. The bags can stand up nicely on my food scale and have a wide enough opening to easily put/pour ingredients into the bag. It can fit quite a lot of food inside. So far I've found them to be freezer and dishwasher safe but the hard to close zipper mechanism makes me wish I had gotten a different type or brand of bag.I see on another Amazon page that SPLF makes a different gallon sized stand up bag: https://a.co/d/5bVbkfcMaybe the other SPLF ones would be easier to close since the 2 zip parts seem closer together than this one. If the bags had one of those glide slider shut mechanisms I feel like that would have been much easier to close vs the press zip type. But again if you handwash these only, you may not have the hard closing issue occur.
