great value for your money
Buyer beware... This worked fantastic, but the install of this is neck breaking, to install this make sure you have some ice for your neck. Fixed my issue on my 2003 silverado

Works good and really not bad to do
So far so good . My defrost is working again after 4 years vent was stuck on face air only I replaced with this one and it’s working face floor and defrost this one was used for blend door not heating cooling and will say not bad to get to but works good ac shop wanted 700 to change saying it was big job taking dash apart but it’s on driver side above up high above gas pedal . Removed driver kick plate and vent tube and it’s pretty easy to get to just try to align the same when done turn key on put to auto turn key off pull fuse from hvac wait 30 seconds reinstall fuse turn key back to on and it will automatically restore settings to oem and should work a lot ov video out there to help I would recommend checking to make sure nothing is frozen up on the blend doors maybe turn them back and forth to make sure they move freely or this part is not your problem but in 70 percent of cases this is the culprit screws are 5.5 mm small socket and ratchet helps tight area to get to

Better than factory
I already had leds headlights so I wanted leds for my fog lights. Easy to install just as simple as turn pull the old push in the new ones and good to go. Very bright and good price. They work as they should. They seem to be a good quality so far we will have to see how they hold up. They fit like factory.

Perfect fit for 03 tahoe driver side blend door
The unit was a perfect fit to replace the oem blend door that was stuck making the dreaded clicking sound every time I started the vehicle. Through no fault of the manufacturer, the placement of this blend door in the vehicle is a mega pain in the butt to install... wear your patience pants when attempting to replace it. The blend door, once properly inserted, worked great and moves through the various air settings perfectly. I would highly recommend this part if you want your vents working again in your 03 tahoe or similar vehicle.

Cheap is expensive
Worked great at first. Only lasted about 5 months. Not worth it.

2004 Chev Silverado Mode door actuator swap
This part is a direct replacement for the factory mode door actuator. It was fairly simple to replace. Once you’ve removed the trim ring around the gauge cluster and the lower panel below the steering wheel, the next thing to remove is the air duct which is secured below the steering column with a single plastic trim fastener that is easily removed with a trim clip tool then slide the air duct out to the left. Now you have fairly good access to the mode door actuator. Once you remove the 2 screws with a 5.5mm or 7/32 socket, what I found to be easiest is to separate the motor from the cam plate first then take the cam plate out. Some people say to leave the factory cam plate in place and just remove the motor but this new cam plate only works with the motor that was supplied with it. Now reassemble in reverse order. Get the cam plate installed and make sure that it is sitting flush against air box and moving the gear properly by rotating it by hand before you put the motor on. Then install the 2 screws and don’t forget the wire harness is attached with the upper screw. Before putting the air duct back in, test the system to make sure it’s working properly. If not, you either didn’t install the plate correctly or there is another cause of the problem probably with the controller. Once functionality is confirmed, put the air duct and panels back on and you’re done! This took me about 30 minutes to install after watching about 10 different YouTube videos. I think the hardest part is getting the screws in and out but if you have the right tools it wasn’t too bad. I used a 1/4” ratchet with a shallow 7/32 socket and a deep 7/32 socket with a 1” extension with both and it was a breeze.

2005 Chevy Tahoe
After 2 years of trying to figure out why my ac kept making a weird sound I FINALLY found a video that pointed out that there is a 3rd actuator in the dash. This one is the "Mode door actuator", I controls the upper and lower air flow. Apparently my actuator had went out and would never power off. I decided to order this part and give it a try to install. It wasn't a terrible install but will require some patience. Use a 7mm to remove dash panel and you need a 5.5mm socket and 1/4inch ratchet unscrew the only two screws holding the actuator in place. I pulled out the old part. When inserting the new part it will be necessary to put the white door cog wheel onto the actuator track, a screwdriver works best. I was able to swap the part and test it within 3hrs. Honestly this should be an 1hr job but due to issues with getting the second bolt off and having to run to Walmart. Once installed the part is working and no more sounds from the dash. I just wanted to share some extra details in case it helps. This part saved me about $120 on a bad diagnosis. Save me $40 on other similar parts that just don't need the invest in such an old truck. Items quality appears to match the oem part.
