I compared a few products and like this one the best. I use it for my baby to take food to daycare. It is made of stainless steel and the inner side of the lid is made of silicone, which are safe for babies. It’s fully leak proof. The two compartments are well separated and there is no leakage from each other. The silicone insert can be taken out to clean. The only complaint is that the edge of the box is curled so it might be a little difficult to clean. But in general I don’t worry about it since it is the outside of the box and won’t touch the food.

After going through plastic lunch boxes for my kids every 6-9 months, I decided to pay a bit more for something that would hopefully last longer. This lunch box has been holding up well so far (~6 months to date). It did come back dented on the very first day - but that's better than the plastic versions that inevitably come back cracked and leaking. And the dents are minor and don't affect the function.The size is good, and the two compartments are well sealed by the rubber insert. The whole thing is quite easy to clean. As other reviewers note, it is on the heavy side, but my kid didn't seem to mind. I'll probably buy a second one when the younger kid's plastic lunch box gives out.

We’ve been packing our daughter’s lunch in this for 7mos on a daily basis and I’m happy to report it’s still in tip top condition. Super high quality and durable materials. Easy to open and close. And I can confirm it’s ACTUALLY leak proof! We love the compartment sizes for different foods, and the separation so things don’t blend or mush together during transit. Can’t recommend this enough! Will be buying our youngest one as soon as he’s old enough for a packed lunch.

Great quality and just what I needed for my toddler daughter’s lunch. I love the size (fits into different lunch boxes) and it closes air tight. I used little stainless pods that I also ordered on Amazon to keep food separate. Worth the price.

We've only been using it for a couple of weeks, but are really happy with this product thus far. We've found that the metal of the container itself will keep food cool for the four hours till lunch time, when packed and refrigerated overnight and transported in an insulated bag. We often use silicone muffin cups to separate different components, but will likely invest in another box with more sections, since we're so happy with this one. The little cups are great for thicker dipping sauces, but tend to leak with liquid dressings. Overall, the box itself is well made, attractive and good value for money.

The media could not be loaded. Received the bento today (1/4/2025). I had been looking for a leak-proof stainless steel option for a while, so I was very excited when I stumbled upon this.Anywho, opened up my package right away. Put water in it to test. WATER CAME OUT SO FAST. Checked the silicone to make sure it was in properly. Yes, it was fine. Maybe the latch is faulty? Maybe it's not closing the container right enough? Bottom line is, it is NOT leak proof. Will reach out to customer service.UPDATE: Received my replacement order the next day (1/5/2025). Unfortunately, it leaked just as much as the first one. It's very disappointing after reading the raving reviews and product, highlights. Maybe I was unlucky and received two faulty ones? After this, I'm not willing to give it a third try.TL;DR— This bento is NOT LEAKPROOF.

Great food container. Inside silicone removes for cleaning. Would prefer a fixed silicone for easier cleaning

I like this product. $43 seemed expensive but I bought it when it was on sale (thirty something dollars).Sturdy enough -better other stainless steel lunch box I ordered from amazon. No dent while using for a few months. This one is my second one.Great size for kids and even adults.Easy to clean.Only thing is that, the small round container didn’t come. I contacted the seller but didn’t hear back. Will call amazon customer service to have it sent.
