I think that this is a really good replacement for the original Elite series 2 controller backplate. I have had my Elite series 2 controller almost since release and through constant use i had eventually cracked my back shell and the rubber was coming away from the plastic. Instead of paying for an OEM replacement i thought i would give this a go and i honestly think its more comfortable than the original backplate. Installation is relatively easy but I would suggest following the many available guides on how to disassemble your Xbox controller to make sure you do not damage anything in the process. The build quality is really good, the plastic is nice and thick so does feel durable in the hand and looks really good IMHO and matches the faceplate I've changed really well. functionality wise it doesn't interfere with any of the triggers or back paddles as i would imagine some of the cheaper ones on amazon would. In short would highly recommend.

I have previously bought a front shell for both my OG Elite and my Series 2 and they were both perfect, and all I can say about the rear shell for my Series 2 is that eXtremeRate have over done themselves. The moulding is perfect and had no issues fitting the controller into the shell, which like the front shells is astounding to me as they would have to have made their own moulds for the parts, which isn't easy. The plastic quality is very high and feels good in the hand, I actually prefer how this shell feels over the original I didn't use them but the fact that you get all the tools needed to replace the part is a wonderful touch, and they also provide extra screws and double sided adhesive which again is a lovely touch. Much like the front shells I can fully recommend any of the parts that eXtremeRate sell as they are all brilliantly made and a decent price.

Ordered as my rubber grips were hanging off after 3 years of use. Really easy to fit with a very clear instructional video. Plastic quality feels as good as official and I'm glad to be rid of the rubber grips for good.

I used this product to replace my old cracked back plate and it fits perfectly and it comes with almost everything you need to put it together however, I believe the size 4 T screwdriver is the wrong size as I had to use my size 3 T for the paddle circuit board but apart from that you have everything you need to put it together, it does not feel oem but is good quality and worth the money

Having ordered my eXtremeRate Replacement Bottom Shell Case for Xbox Elite Series 2 Controller i also ordered JOREST 38Pcs Precision Screwdriver Set, Tool Kit with Security Torx T5 T6 T8 T9, Triwing Y00, Star P5, etc, just to be on the safe side. It took me about a hour to Replace the bottom shell using the screwdriver set i also purchased from Amazon, The Replacement was very fiddley Because of the very small screws and the new sticky pads was a pain to put on the magnets. I Also used the original screws from my controller which fitted perfect. When it was back together it all fitted perfect. I Am very pleased with the new replacement shell and if you Buy one watch the video on you tube which goes through step by step Details on how to Replace it. It as saved me £130.00 on not Having to Buy a New Controller. May i had i am 65 years old and if i can do it Anyone can.

Excellent item, comes with everything needed to fully replace rear housing without additional tools, only problem with mine was it came with 1 spare T4, 1 spare t6, but 1 less tr8 than needed

Good fit, all the extra bits supplied! Textured finish has good grip. YT video on how to take the controller apart was enough to do the job.

Great case for the elite series 2 all fits well and looks great. Even though it doesn't have the grips on the sides it doesn't require it the shell itself has a very light rubber like texture on there which still gives a good grip. Couldn't tell you how it was putting it together looked way to fiddly for me fortunately we have a local game shop and they do it for me for a fiver

This product is perfect! My controller finally fell apart after purchase 5 years ago. Luckily after buying this and a front plate I found out how durable the elite series 2 really is. Nothing in the inside was damaged, just the front and back plate. So I now basically have a brand new controller again! These plates are incredible and there are a lot more options on color to suit anyone’s preference. The fit is perfect just like the original and I love the texture of the textured bottom version. ExtremeRate has lots of options on customization so now that I know these guys make quality products I’ll check out some of their other stuff to customize my Elite Controller. I have a picture below of the new plate I got I’m reviewing, as well as 2 pictures that do absolutely no justice on how terrible my controller looked. It was literally falling apart with small plastic pieces falling out every time I’d pickup the controller. But the majority of the damage was on the front plate which I have a review on as well. Definitely recommend for anyone with an old Elite series 2, or anyone who’s looking to customize/personalize their controller to stand out from anyone with the same controller.

Habe das Rückgehäuse in 30 min gewechselt bekommen. Jemand der versierter ist in den Sachen, würde dafür wahrscheinlich keine 10 Minuten brauchen. Aber mit dem Video wahr das echt einfach zu wechseln. Die Griffigkeit von dem Gehäuse fühlt sich super an und hat nicht diesen Plastiktouch sondern fühlt sich wie eine dünne Gummischicht an. Kann das nur jedem empfehlen zu wechseln wenn sich das Gummi an eurem Controller löst.
