Can't believe I hadn't bought these before
Absolutely love this set, not only are they pigmented but the color selection is pretty nice too, I've done some watercolor type and normal pencil coloring and both have been like a dream! Highly recommend, they're not soft core but are pretty buttery, they don't break easily, are easy to use and understand, I can't recommend these enough

Not my cup of tea…
Unfortunately I didn’t enjoy these much. I didn’t like using them with water or without… too dry and scratchy for me. A very hard pencil, which makes it difficult to lay down smooth dense coverage. I also didn’t like the color selection at all in the 24 set I purchased… too many bright colors and not any muted tones. I felt very limited in what I could create because I didn’t have the colors I really wanted. Have since learned to buy things open stock rather than in a set (most of the time) as I just prefer a more muted and eclectic color palette.
