Cargo Net Replacement Hooks Hardware Kit (4 pcs)

These were exactly what I needed for the storage netting my my truck camper.

Our new RAV4 hybrid is a delight--except that there are no hooks for the cargo net as in prior models. I ordered these hooks (four in a pack) and carefully drilled a small hole in the plastic sides of the cargo area just inside of the rear hatch. I used a depth stop so that I (hopefully) would not inadvertently snag a wire or tube behind the wall.The hooks are bit small, but seem to hold the cargo net full of bags of groceries successfully.

Broke two trying to thread them through the metal backing. Used. B metric drill bit. Was able to remove the plastic from one of the broken screws and add a nut to it. With my socket used the broken screw with the nut to cut the threads through the metal and then screw-in the real one. Not much thread holding but so far ok. Hope it holds, not happy!

If you need the screws too, these will probably work. I was hoping I could take the heads off and use them on a different screw post already in my vehicle, but they don't remove (or at least not without breaking). So for my needs they didn't work, but they are decently made, and I may try to use them in the garage to hold a net for kid's toys.

These were a perfect fit for my 2016 Hyundai Elantra Limited. There is no tool required to install them. You most likely have existing holes (my car did) that they screw into. Just tighten them by hand and wrap the net loop around them. It took a little force to get the net onto the hooks but a very easy install. It took about two minutes.

The 3rd picture shows that the screw stud unscrews and comes apart from the plastic piece, which then you can screw the plastic hook on a threaded bolt already in the car (as in my Hyundai). The screw stud is melted into the plastic and it will not unscrew. Others have reported that it broke on them while they were trying to do the same thing. So remove that 3rd picture from the product description and you can sell it as just a screw-on one piece. So anyone looking to separate the plastic hook head from the metal screw stud, don't waste your time.
