Nice quality, well made, beautiful
My daughter's dog ate 5 remote controls in roughly 1.5wks. I joked that she could probably get them cheaper if she just bought them by the case. I got this box as a way for her to keep her remote safe in something that looks good sitting out and this is that. It's big enough that she can also keep her gaming remote, her earbuds, etc, all safe from the dog. Visually, it's a pretty box. I chose this one specifically because she likes sort of fish scale scallops (has it on other things around the apartment). It IS a sturdy box. It doesn't latch, so I guess if the dog were determined, he could still get things, but he's really not that clever.

Elegant & Sturdy Storage Box!
This scallop mango wood box is beautiful and well-made. The wood has a lovely warm tone, and the scalloped design adds a nice touch. It’s perfect for storing jewelry or small items. I keep my crystals and stones in it. The lid fits securely, and it looks great in any room. Highly recommend!

Inside dimensions
I like the look of the box. Despite a crack in the bottom that runs clear to underneath, it will suit my purposes.The inside dimensions are 9 5/8 long x 6 5/8 wide x 2 1/4 high inside the bottom with another 1 1/4 high inside the cover.

Well made, good value
For a hand made item this is well made. The lid fits the box and the hinges line up perfectly. The carving in the lid is uniform, yet you can tell it's hand carved, not machine made. A lot of skill went into making this. Bought it to hold our remotes - TV, DVR, soundbar, etc. - and there's plenty of room. Looks nice on the coffee table, the whole family loves it.
