Yale Anti-Snap 3 Star Euro Double Cylinder, High Security, Nickel Finish, 50.45 (95 mm)

Having recently upgraded my home security with the 3 Star Anti-Snap Platinum Euro Cylinder lock, I am thoroughly impressed with its performance and security features. This lock is approved to the high security British Standard TS007:2014 and also carries the Police Secure by Design accreditation, which gave me a lot of confidence in its ability to protect my home.One of the key aspects of this lock that stands out is its hardened steel core and multi-layered defence solution. It's designed to withstand various methods of forced entry such as snapping, a common technique used in burglaries. Fitted and works fine. Arrived in Yale box in new condition. Fitting was simple, no ‘lugs’ or ‘dimples’ to get in the way. The over length of the 35/35 is 70mm not some other makes that are up 74mm which won’t fit into a Yale platinum door handle. Shame it only comes with 3 keys as had to pay out £16 for 2 additional keys so hopefully it doesn’t fail!

Easily fitted, little bumps mentioned in some reviews no longer present so the issue of those catching on install isn't an issue with the ones delivered to me. Keys feel sharper than previous designs not to the point of harming anything but just makes the key a little more awkward to place in the cylinderOther than that, all good

As the title says, it is what you can expect, and it has a fancy horizontal key, one of those that are safer and harder to pick for some technical reason I don't pay attention to.The lock has small bumps/inserts on what side of the cylinder shaft, this is the anti-snap mechanism or something. Preferably, you don't want to file these down as they are a feature. I instead filed the hole a bit on the sides (it is wood outside) and it fitted like a glove.However, the inside of my door is made of steel and because the hole was perfectly the shape of the shaft, the lock had to be introduced from the outside (It's technically meant to be so.) The thumb knob wouldn't go through this hole so I had to remove it before sliding it in. The product does not include the allen key necessary to do so, so I had to MacGyver some tool for it. That's why I left 4 stars instead of 5. I wish it included a small allen key or something.

Really straightforward and easy. Came with 3 keys, and the knob inside so all 3 keys can be utilised / handed out.Looks sturdy, and took less than 5 mins to swap out

Excellent, after 2.5 years the cheap 1 star in my new build had become bananas, this replacement works much smoother as it new and branded with the added security of 2 more stars.

Worked great for 3 months Now I have the same problems as others where the key just turns and turns and turns. Locked out of the house. Luckily I had my old lock still
