I bought this to replace a Schumacher I had purchased from a large farm supply store. That Schumacher didn't last very long, and I couldn't return it without having my store receipt or the machine's original box. Who actually keeps the box it comes in ? That cost me over $250. It didn't last a year. This little yellow charger I bought from Amazon works great and is easy to carry out to the job site. This Amazon charger charges all my different automotive batteries. no problem. I have several cars , farm tractors,big trucks that use 3-4 batteries to run the trucks. This charger charges those batteries back up to perfect again. Im very pleased. i have so many vehicles to keep charged and running I couldn't keep up with until i got this charger. I highly recommend this charger. it charges very fast too. even for completely dead batteries. I have a huge(1600lb) battery in an electric pallet jack. this charger worked for that, too. in the box came some directions and a 4 year factory warranty info sheet.

My car battery kept dying and needed to be jump started every day. I was about to buy another battery when I read online that a low/dead battery could flag as bad on a battery test. I only have access to one vehicle and decided I would try one of these smart battery chargers. SO GLAD I DID.The battery charger has a repair feature that I was interested in. I hooked it up and it said my battery was initially at 27%. I left it overnight on the repair cycle and woke up to a 100%. It's been 3 days and so far no need to jumpstart the battery and the car has started every time without issue. This was cheaper than a new car battery and so far seems to have fixed my problem!

I ordered this not only to help slow charge batteries and try to bring them back once deeply discharged, but also to supply enough voltage while programming modules. For such a small charger, it has decent weight to it. It’s easy to use- hook cables to the battery terminals, plug the power cord in, and select fast or slow charging. You can select regular charge or repair, which adds a deep pulse to the charging cycle. You can select maintain or auto off- maintain will keep the battery charge topped off, while auto off shuts the charge off when the battery reaches a full charge. The s teen shows the battery percentage, current voltage, and current amps being charged into the battery. Functionality is easy- connect and set what you want, flip the switch and let it do its thing. The unit has some good weight to it and feels durable, no concerns about it surviving in the shop. For an inexpensive unit, it seems like a good value for the money. It’s already topped off plenty of batteries, and brought a few back from being extremely discharged.

It works, small but effective!I charged 2 Diesel batteries in parrell, but took 4 days!Small and easy to handle!Not made for 6 volt batteries!

It’s easy to use and works on both 12V and 24V batteries. I like the automatic shutoff and the different modes like repair and winter. It charged my car and motorcycle batteries without any issues. Very reliable and heavy-duty. A must-have for any garage!

Amazing charger! I had many old chargers over the years and decided to get this newer technically superior charger and WOW it works GREAT! I thew the others out. Directions of operation is easy to understand.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I chose this charger/maintainer because of the features and the good reviews. There were a few bad reviews but there always are and I weighed the good against the bad and it seemed to be worth it. What a mistake. I charged my truck's battery with it (it died due to lack of use. I usually only use the truck when I need four-wheel drive or to pull the boat) and it seemed to work fine. That was good, so I decided to use the battery maintainer function. What a mistake. Followed all the instructions. It worked ok for two days and on the third day I heared a big bang from the garage (its a detached garage about 60 feet from the house). Went in there to find a sour and ozone smell. The charger was reading "battery charged 100%", and there was liquid leaking onto the floor of my garage. I unpluged everything and checked out what had happened. The charger had over charged the battery and had actually caused it to explode (see photos). There was battery acid sprayed on the inside of the engine compartment (fortunately RAM trucks have a fabric pad covering the battery so the damage was limited) but all the acid needed to ne neutrilized and cleaned up. I will be sending this unit back for a refund and dare not use it or anything from this company again. It's just too dangerous.The one thing that I find kind of amazing is that it managed to destroy every cell of that bettery. It wasn't just a single cell that exploded. It was compleatly destroyed. Buyer beware!
