Tofutti Better Than Sour Cream Guacamole, 12 Ounce (Pack of 12)

This is the only sour cream substitute that tastes almost exactly like sour cream. It has a nice smooth creamy texture. I have been using it for years to make guacamole, along with salsa and other spices. The vast majority of stores no longer carry this Tofutti product. Instead, they carry the Tofutti blue label fake sour cream that tastes horrible and has the consistency of cream cheese, which is too thick. Not sure why, but they must be pushing this terrible substitute because it costs less to make. It is often not available on Amazon, but I can't use 12 of them. Search for stores that carry the white label Sour Supreme. Update: 7-2-18. Ordered and received my order last week. Sadly, I’m very disappointed. The containers have the Sour Suprême white label on the lid, but the blue label on the container. The lid also says Guacamole, and the texture is exactly like the blue label. Consistency is like cream cheese (too thick) and it has a beige color and the same bad taste as the blue label. It sucks.

Excellent substitute for Sour Cream when baking!We seem to have trouble finding it at our local Fry's and Sprouts, wish it was easier to get.
