Smooth and silent
Been great so far, no noise, barely any friction on hardwood floor much better than the original plastic things that just scrape along causing scratches to floors

Sturdy and reliable
Third set bought, after 3 years of abuse the first set was a little bit stiff, and I got new hard floors so this new set rolls around great on them with no marks. These wheels are the only ones I trust right now, bought 3 other kinds and all have had problems in various ways, but these are solid and long lasting (the second set are working fine even on a checkerplate texture rubber floor)

Great replacement for standard wheels
Work exactly as described and aren't too tall like a lot of these single wheel designs are - the extra height can cause the unit to flex which isn't desirable. These units are weight rated unlike a lot of similar items and do not flex, rolling smoothly even with weight added. Highly recommended.

Upgrade your chair
Bought to add freer running to the SWMBO office chair.I found swapping the casters easy and I was somewhat surprised to discover that three of the original casters had at least one failed wheel after just a few months use, jammed casters lead to scratches of the laminate wood floor and stretching and rucking of carpet.Our home has a 2" (50mm) difference in floor level along the length of the room but this is not enough to have the chair run away under gravity to end up in the doorway.Moving the chair to access the printer or filing cabinet is simple, the casters make it a finger light touch.As with all furniture the original casters are so cheap they are really only a means of keeping the frame off the floor and a decent set of replacement casters should be purchased with the chair...

Soft and safely stick to their spot
Beautifully soft and ‘sticky’ so that the chair doesn’t automatically roll out from under you. Great when sitting down with control is a challenge. Scratch resistant, definitely. They squeak a bit when moving, but it’s not an unpleasant sound.
