This works very well. The cable portion is especially robust and stiff on mine. I'm able to charge my phone, watch and headphone with the same cable at the same time. I've had this for a number of months or close to a year, and although i did moderately damage the USB type C end. The whole thing still works. I hadn't damaged the lightning cable end and that portion seems a little less reliable, but i am a little rough on the cable and it could also be my phone port. I would purchase it again if i had to.

I waited to write this review to give an honest opinion of its durability. My original cable still works well (charges quickly and has a secure connection) and has no fraying or signs of wear due to the cable material. I’ve used these at home, taken them on vacation, used them in the car and at the office. I really like the fact that they have a USB adapter and I can charge all of my devices at once (Apple and Android). They work very well and the reason I keep buying more is because my family members keep taking them! I highly recommend them to all my family and friends.

I just canceled my return of this charger, but I was just about to get my money back. I was so excited to purchase this item for travel use. I plugged it in last night and it didn’t work at all, so my battery was almost dead in the morning. I started my return and decided to wiggle it around to make sure it wasn’t the way I plugged it in. It was plugged in just fine but it didn’t charge. I decided to charge it in to my built in USB port in the kitchen and voila, it worked and it also worked using my husband’s general USB block. I decided to try a new charging block and removed the USB cap to expose the smaller plug (C Plug) in and that also worked. So the larger USB was useless with my Apple block (even though I have never had an issue with it in the past with any charger), but I was able to resolve it by using a different block and used the USB-C end instead . So if you are traveling PLEASE check to make sure that yours is compatible. Mine is an official Apple charger USB block and it didn’t work. The concept it fantastic so I decided to keep it, I’ll just have to be mindful to take a block that works as to not take any chances with other plugs ins at hotels.

Updated: Seller sent replacement product which seems to be working. I’m a little wary of giving 5 stars since item was just received and tested. Will update after using multiple times.Buyer be aware. I Ordered 2 charge cords but one didn’t work. Unfortunately I was past the return window before it was tested. I purchased this as a back up charger for travel but when I needed it, it didn’t work. Tried it in multiple places but will not charge any device. Amazon customer service was no help since it is outside of return window.
