I love the size of these bobbins. They are perfect to use for wire weaving with very small diameter wire like 26, 28, or 30 gauge. For me, I find the size of these bobbins to be easier to work with than the larger size; however, that may be because I have small hands. I have the larger sizes but avoid them and grab these for the majority of my projects. These small bobbins will hold plenty of wire for almost any jewelry project. I have never ran out of wire unless I'm just trying to use up what was leftover from a prior project.

I love the size of these. They are small enough when you use several while weaving they don't take up so much room. I use them for macramé, wire weaving and kumihimo. You can wind wire, hemp or rattail easily around the bobbins and keep everything from tangling. I have seen these in a larger size but I prefer the smaller size for wire weaving. I ordered 32 because of the different colors of rattail and the different kinds of wire I use. I have enough that if I don't finish what is on the bobbin I can put it aside for use again on another project. They are a must for weaving.

They work perfectly when parking threads for cross stitch.I separate them by gridded section and click multiple bobbins together to keep out of the way.

It helps to have a lot of bobbins handy because I have several Kumihimo disks. This is a good deal. The bobbins come packaged in groups of 8. They are in fine shape.

Wish I'd thought of if first! This product make knotting friendship bracelets so much easier. Embroidery floss does tend to slip a bit, so I but a small angled snip in the rounded part to hold the thread securely. Worked like a charm.

I'm using my Bobbins as we speak. Sooooo convenient to manage the yarns you're braiding so they don't become a tangle mess.

Does an adequate job but, very flimsy and doesn’t always hold. Not sure how they have such a high rating. Their weighted bobbins are made much better.

I used 32 AWG wire with little issues in these bobbins. The plastic lip has enough hold, maybe not so much for thinner wire.
