Great for cooking ahead ... lunches.... special diets (allergies, AIP, Paleo, etc)
I have switched to the autoimmune protocol diet. I terms of cooking ahead for economy, work, special diets and all these are fantastic for cooking ahead and freezing. For me a good size portion. Though fresh out of the box they are well made and the lids attach well, so far no problem with leaks, but need a little more testing (I'll wrap the first few liquid things in a plastic bag). The lids are clear and you can easily see what is inside. The individual boxes say microwave safe, they do have a code for #4 triangle plastic (PP = polypropylene) so when done or melted from overcooking they are recyclable. Like all plastic containers, when heating loosen the lid, otherwise the plastic lid will get warm/hot and stretch and not seal well after cooling. They seem like they would fit in a backpack well for travel to school / work and withstand a reasonable amount of weight on them in a book bag, but I wouldn't let a elephant sit on it, lol. See the pic, but they are also very efficient in your cabinet- 12 units stacked are about 4-1/2" H x 6" W x 8-3/4" high.I'll report back later following more experience with freezing, dish washers, and leaks (liquids). So far pleased.Edit/Update: These microwave OK with the lid loosened, I recommend not sealing the lid when warm and let cool as the plastic will stretch and not seal well later. I have added a pic with 6 lbs of leg weights on top- pretty strong- a little bowing, would withstand the back pack weight of a book on top or something heavy. Dishwasher- had one lid warp a little, but still attached and sealed well, dishwasher is a Bosh, upper rack does not get very warm.

Great product! I highly recommend!
I absolutely love this product! The containers are great quality. I am able to refrigerate, freeze, or microwave them no problem. These containers are a little more expensive than others, but it is completly worth the investment.I take my health and fitness very seriously so I meal prep for the week. The openings are more than wide enough and each easily fit about a cup. These containers are perfect for helping stay on track and meeting your goals or just to simplify your life. It is sooo nice not having to cook dinner every evening. I just cook A LOT on the weekend, meal prep for the week, then pop the containers into the freezer. The night before I will set them in the fridge to defrost, then I'll just microwave them when I'm ready to eat.Enther also has spectacular customer service. When unpackaging my containers I noticed that one of the lids had a crack. I contacted Ether who quickly responded by apologizing and offered to replace the lid! They quickly shipped out a replacement lid. :)

Fine for the price
They're fine, but washing them is worse than washing spoons. Wear an apron while washing because you WILL get splashed. A lot. They're hard to get oil off of, and they can become pretty brittle over time, but it's plastic so what else can you expect? My last gripe is that they take up way too much space in a dishwasher for how little storage space they take in a cabinet. Again, great price, serves it's purpose, just minor qualms.
