Turn off, turns itself back on
Update: After more than a year, the seller continues to reach out to me to try to rectify the situation. I should have updated the rating sooner. This seller exemplifies what we should expect from sellers on Amazon. I would buy from this seller again. They are responsive and fixed the problem immediately. We purchased 2 of these. You turn it on, and it is annoying to begin with, as is most children's toys like this. Problem is, one of them when you turn it off, it would just turn back on and keep making the noise. We bought these as Christmas gifts, so it was hard to justify sending them back. So we just made them mysteriously disappear. Don't buy this product if you value your sanity.

Kids do tend to think its cool but it didn't function perfectly
My son got something very similar to this one as a gift and loved it, so I bought it for a kid of a very similar age that I didn't know so well. It was perfect in the sense that he lit up, played with it for quite a while and seemed to really like it. It was challenging for him but still fun. The issue was that we started to notice the buttons not always responding well to being pressed on certain games. It made those games not enjoyable to play.
