Q: What's the diameter of the needle?

There are to needles in my opinion both are too wide and the marinade therefore runs through too easily from both. Of course it might be that I need to make a thicker marinade

Q: To any customer who actually paid for this: apart from meat, is it also good for feeding a cake please e.g. with fruit syrup, jam, alcohol? Thanks.

It would as it includes a narrower gauge needle for just that sort of job. Jam might be an issue unless it's pre-thinned for injecting.
