My favorite of all the faux noodle products, plus it is LOADED with fiber!
My favorite of all the faux noodle products. I like the firm texture. This one is most like regular noodles, plus it is LOADED with fiber! I used the Explore Cuisine Organic Black Bean Spaghetti before (many times), but no matter how I tried making it, it pretty much came out as mush.I've made the Bentilia Lentil pasta about 6 times now, and I'm still impressed with how good it is.Ron

Guess we can't have everything.
I like this pasta, but it takes a lot longer then instructions say to get it soft/done enough to eat. And there is a fine line between just right and mush, but I appreciate the pure simple ingredients. Guess we can have everything.

Quality product but meh taste
I enjoy red lentils and have enjoyed red lentil pasta but this brand let me down on flavour.It was very bland.Red lentil pasta is generally not a strong taste which has its benefits as it doesn’t overpower sauces but I do enjoy it simply tossed in olive oil/butter with black pepper and parmesan cheese which compliments the slightly black peppery flavour I enjoy about the red lentil pasta I have had (Tolerant brand). This pasta didn’t have that flavour and it seemed chewier.The price is much better on amazon then tolerant so if you want the mild flavour and a better price this is the one for you.

Best healthy alternative pasta noodles I have tried
These are by far the best "healthy alternative" pasta noodles I have tried. You must rinse them with cold water after cooking though or else they taste a little gummy. Other than that, I highly, highly recommend them.

Cooking is more trial and error for texture but over all great pasta, It likes to make a foam when it boils and the water gets thicker so use a bigger pot than expected and rinse after use.
