Perfect. I use these on my stairs in case of a power outage. And when I come in after dark, the one near the bottom stair turns on so it isn't completely dark. I also have one in the hallway of the bedrooms. Just enough light to make it okay without killing oneself!

Bought this thinking it was like one I purchased at Walgreens that has an auto setting and turns the light on when there is movement and off about 35 seconds after it no longer senses movement. This one does not sense motion, instead, it turns the light on when it is dark and turns the light off when it is dark. It does not react to motion at all.

I've had this product for over a year almost, it's still working great, it's really sensitive to your motion, i can't say enough good things about it.

I have 2 of these lights for more than a year now and they work great. One is in a dark hallway and one is in a hall closet. I like that it has an ON-AUTO-OFF switch. The one in the hallways drains the battery pretty quickly because the motion sensor has pretty good range so the light comes on even when I'm too far to benefit from the light. Light output is decent. Overall, a great product and would buy again.
