Works great
First off the fly web trap works well so I'm sticking with it for now. However my first bulb failed after only a couple of months. I have a second trap at another location and it's bulb is ok.Let's hope I have better luck with my new bulbs.Update march 2012 - latest bulb has lasted much longer. This fly catcher system works really well ( I have two of them in the house). 1st Bulb in the other system has lasted well. 2nd bulb in 2nd system also working well.Upgraded the number of stars to 4 from 2.May 2012 Update:So far no more bulb fails. The FlyWeb Light trap works great. Moved it up-to 5 starsOctober 2012 UpdateStill working great. Sometimes esp. in the summer months I see a fly or other insect slip into the house if I have left my screen door open. However I now can relax in the knowledge that the insect will become a victim of the flyweb trap overnight. I still have 2 traps located on either side of our open plan Kitchen/living / family room. The only thing that it may not capture is mosquitoes, but not sure of this.

TIFFAND CUSTOMER SERVICE WONDERFUL FOR ME
My daughter bought a FLYWEB. I love it. It works very well at attracting bugs and flies that come inside. We used it for at LEAST a year and a half with the original bulb. Finally the bulb burnt out and I ordered a new one. It didn't last a month but I had it past Amazon's return window. I messaged TIFFAND and my goodness, they sent me a new bulb immediately. That, in my opinion, is EXCELLENT customer service!!! So far, so good, with my new bulb. Even if would have burned out fast again., I am still impressed with their customer service.

VERY easy to replace the existing bulb. After a year we have only needed 1 new bulb.
The bulb is really easy to replace. The instructions are with it, and it takes less than a minute to remove the old one and install the new one. We've had this device for more than a year and it has helped tremendously in getting rid of any flies in the house.

Bulbs Won’t Last
These used to be excellent, but now lights burn out in less than 3 months. I think we’re looking at the Zevo units on here.

Years of Glow
It has been over 7 years since I have had to replace the bulb in the bug catching light, and it does its job well. The light has two jobs, well, three if you count the whole unit as a night light. First, it heats up the glue pad behind it. This keeps the glue soft, and an easy trap for any bug attracted to the soft blue glow. Secondly, the light serves as the focal point for the flying pests. Hopefully this replacement will last just as long.

This simple light has murdered thousands of would-be blood suckers
We tried vinegars, honey traps, flystrips, 'ultrasonic repellants' - none of it worked. Then I bought this thing and wow....I have to change the glue strip like monthly it catches so much. I mean the strip is FULL, top to bottom, with fruit flies, mosquitos, gnats, even the random spider or silverfish. And it doubles as a night light in the kitchen. Save yourself the headache, if youve got a fruit fly problem or a legion of blood suckers in your home, just get this and stop worrying about it.

Even better than the original
We have 3 of these fly lights so I keep a supply of these replacement bulbs on hand. I've only had to use one so far, but it has lasted even longer than the original bulb did. To be completely honest, there were a few times when the replacement bulb would randomly go out for brief periods. But then it would just come back on again. I don't know why. But it hasn't done that in quite a while. Even with that little glitch, it is MUCH cheaper than buying a whole new light. I recommend them.
