one star for the inability to turn off the annoying beeping - as i write this it is next top me beeping away. The dog hates the beeping and so do I

Both one and really liked it so got another one on Amazon and it was so far off on the temp it was unusable.

This is a good meat thermometer, and the preset temperatures are handy to tell you when different types of meat are properly cooked. However, a huge downfall of this thermometer is the on/off button which is very sensitive and it's quite finicky to get it to turn off. It then continuously beeps until you turn it off which is really annoying. I have had 2 of these thermometers, hoping this issue was just specific to first one I owned, but the same issue happened to my second thermometer as well. For that reason, I cannot recommend this product.

This item arrived as promised and works perfect. This is our second one. The first one fell into a sink full of water and it didn’t work after that. Highly recommend this item. Just don’t submerge it.

I have one now for over a year and was so pleased with it i got one for a friend.
