Good lightstand
It would be nice if it stood higher, but it is so much better than the manfroto light stand. This thing is really sturdy lightstand I plan to buy another.

Typical Neewer Quality
And I mean "typical Neewer quality" as a compliment because I've acquired a lot of their equipment over the years, and I've always been happy for the quality given the relatively low cost. People need to keep in mind what this stand has been designed to do. It's not a stainless steel c-stand designed to hold a heavy strobe like a Godox AD600. I have used it with a Godox AD200 Pro and for that purpose it worked fine. I like that it folds up to a smaller size so I can take it on location, but I wish it came with a bag because all the metal edges get caught when I'm moving it around. As long as you keep your expectations consistent with the design of this stand, I think you'll be happy with it also.

It works, but the screw tightening mechanism for the stand doesn’t feel right
It’s a decent product and feels sturdy enough. But the screw/knob tightening for the extendable pole feels off. I’m pretty sure it’s possible to over torque it and either strip the screw, or you’ll crush the pole first before you feel a hard stop. The lack of a hard stop when tightening the knobs is not very confident inspiring. Functionally everything works, but honestly I’m not gonna risk it. I’ve purchased cheaper light stands in the past that felt more secure.
