This is actually our 2nd Vevor Distiller, and over a year of EXTREME use the rubber seal finally gave in. We used it at least 2 times a day, and up to 5 times with family visiting. So it definitely did it's job and more.Asvststed it still works just the seal needed to be replaced and customer service with Vevor is great. I have had to talk with them twice about two different items and they always fixed the issues. Great product, works hard, monthly maintenance is easy and you can definitely tell the need for it. Use any food safe citric acid for cleaning as it works best and has multiple uses. The charcoal filter bags are pretty generic so you can order from anywhere.The only down side is the new Distiller electric cord doesn't feel as snug as the old version so if Vevor reads this please chose a better fitting cord. It still works but it could get unpugged fairly easy.

Finding this part seems impossible, check Vevor website. No place to order parts! This is a part that will wear out regularly, now water just streams down the side of the unit onto the counter. Does it work well, yes. Parts per million in water after distillation is 1-2, however you will need an new O ring every three months and there doesn't appear to be any concern from Vevor in supplying these readily, good luck. So if you are looking for counter top distiller that will work perfectly for 3 months, this is a good choice. Mine is supposed to be under warrantee, after 5 days no movement in the part being sent out.

This is the 2nd unit I purchased. Both have cracked about 4 months into it. I use it every other day. This 2nd one I hit up the warranty & they are replacing the cracked liner only, it will take 4 weeks to arrive. It's a wait n see, but not purchasing a 3rd. It sounded good! It appears that the lid is too heavy for the thin liner- the company said it's the material when I asked if the design is flawed...

I have extremely hard water and desperately needed this for getting distilled water for my humidifier during winter. Is also the best 750w electric heater I've ever had. Zero smell.

Seal starts to fail around 6 months. Not useable before it's a year old.

The item appears to be fine but there is no information on how to obtain replacement parts. I am interested in the plastic looking ring around the bottom of the glass bottle as it can go bad and acts to protect the bottle.

Very pleased with this product. High-quality construction, clear and detailed instruction manual, easy to use. I would have liked the handle already installed on the glass carafe, but I managed to attach the handle and metal strips in a few minutes. We are very happy overall!

I have mixed feelings about this product. It works well as far as producing the water, and I know it is filtering out some impurities because I have to clean the machine after using it.However, I am noticing that the water reservoir in my CPAP is not as clean for as long as it used to. The slightly slimy buildup is there almost every morning. So, I just don't know if it's as good as the bottled water I used to buy.
