Excellent value
This tv is amazing value for money! Picture quality is excellent, it’s very bright and clear, it’s extremely easy to setup. Has great Sound quality and is all round a very good tv. Everything works brilliantly including wifi which is quick and smooth. I’m surprised it’s possible to get a tv of this quality for a promotional price of *£289, now it’s on another promotion and it’s even cheaper at £250. *I have owned my tv for about 6 months (or more) It has been absolutely faultless. Next time I need something similar Oi will not bother going anywhere else.

Solid for the money
I bought this to use in a studio space, primarily for monitoring cameras when filming, but also to use for recreational viewing. I picked this model for the price and the supposed image quality, and it's a solid offering at the price point. Despite all the image quality claims, it's still a fairly basic display with basic backlighting, and that shows with some bleeding in areas (photos attached to my review). But, again, in the context of a 50" TV at this price? I'm still amazed. One of the things I really like about this TV is the software. It's like using a computer - switching between apps, it often remembers where you were and the apps load super fast. This is in contrast to a Roku system I have at home which does none of these things. I've found the start up time from cold (i.e. off at the mains) to be perfectly fine, too. The speakers are kind of lousy but that's to be expected. I bought a £40 sound bar to pair with this and it's made a world of difference. Overall, then, four stars. Great software, decent enough display, a star off for that backlight bleed.

4k Ultra HD, HDR TV, Smart LED Fire TV, EXCELLENT picture and sound quality.
Easy to set up TV and download Apps. Quality of picture and sound brilliant. Comes with own legs to stand on my desk, very sturdy. Straight forward connecting Virgin Media etc through HDMI connections. I can't say I'm very tech minded but if I can set this up and use it anyone can. Have fun.

Can be a bit slow to respond but overall good value
The TV is a great size and good value. I think the clarity of the blacks/shadows isn't great - it can look a bit pixellated when the screen is dark. I also find Freely as slow as a snail, it takes ages for the interface to connect to it. However, other apps seem much more responsive and I'm able to access everything I need on it with Netflix, Disney plus, apple tv etc. It's a budget TV and in that bracket it performs well - it replaced a 42" plasma LG, which had a far superior picture quality but wasn't a smart TV. We got rid of Sky Q and wanted something with a similar interface - Freely isn't a patch on Sky's interface, but I've got used to the laggy set up and can live with it for the substantial savings over Sky.

Great TV that actually operates as a media centre
Used this to replace an old 22 inch monitor for PC. I'm a bog standard PC user - not a single pixel design guy, so just need a nice big display. Decided a TV was the way to go - - so went for the 32inch model - as that gave me everything I needed in my home office. I set it up - attached to a KVM - and receive crystal clear PC display at 1920 x 1080, used the Freely app and get seamless transition to Live TV across both the internet delivered (BBC, ITV, C4 and 5) as well as over the air for the rest. Fire TV provides the option of all the apps you need for TV reception, and lastly installed Kodi to stream from home storage. The functionality in this TV - for the money you pay - is simply off the chart. QLED quantum dot works a treat, freely is better than I expected for live tv, kodi (as a client) plays everything I throw at it, and the PC output works spot on. The add-on of being a FireTV means I also get access to Prime and Netflix (as well as Disney+, Paramount+, Sky Sports etc. apps as well) if I want. So picture wise - great presentation with the QLED setup. Sound wise - as you would expect, perfectly happy for home office but not for living room (but we all know pair with a soundbar and all good). Speed wise - nice and snappy with the combination of FireTV interface and Freely interface. No doubt about it - this has become a fully fledged media centre, as well as PC output - and all for £130. TCL and HiSense are really showing how much bang for buck you can get if you ignore the big boy hype. Yes its not OLED, it will not suit a home cinema etc etc. but if you just want a really good TV with loads of bells and whistles - I would not look past this one.

Solid Budget 4K TV With Great Picture, Just Occasional Freezes
I’ve been using the TCL 43PF650K 43” 4K Fire TV for a couple of months now, and overall it’s been a very solid upgrade for the price. Picture quality is the biggest win here. 4K content looks crisp, colours are vivid, and Dolby Vision definitely helps movies pop. Even regular HD channels upscale nicely, so day-to-day watching feels sharp and clear. The brightness is good enough for both daytime and evening viewing, and the viewing angles are decent for a mid-range LED panel. Sound is surprisingly good too. With Dolby Atmos support, the audio feels fuller than most TVs in this price bracket. For casual watching, you don’t really need an external soundbar. Fire TV integration is smooth, with all the main apps — Netflix, Prime Video, YouTube, Disney+, etc. Navigation is quick most of the time and Alexa voice control works well. The only downside: Every now and then the TV hangs or freezes for a few seconds. It’s not constant, but when it happens it’s annoying and interrupts the smooth experience. A quick restart usually sorts it, but still something to note. Overall: A great value 4K TV with strong image quality, good sound, and all the smart features you need. If TCL improves the occasional software hiccup, it would be perfect. Perfect for anyone who wants a solid, affordable 4K experience without breaking the bank. Came without any damage to the screen.
