I’m not sure what I was expecting but this doesn’t seem to sooth the cough or treat it,It’s very thin liquid and actually makes the cough worse when first given.

It Relieves the Symptoms!
Was very worried about Bear the Dog. He was very poorly and this mixture certainly helped his symptoms. He knew something was being administered and was very suspicious. So putting the drops straight into his mouth was too risky because of the glass pipette. However, a solution was found in the form of slightly melted ice cream. As soon as the ice cream was soft and no longer frozen the dosage was added as a sauce topping....it worked. Didn't want to add the drops to solid frozen ice cream in case it affected the mixture . He is improving, and looks forward to his daily dose.

This Kennel Cough Relief is a liquid in a pipette bottle which contains a variety of natural ingredients, designed to protect against kennel cough and speed recovery. My puppy recently had a nasty bout, which may have started as a viral form, so we treated the symptoms conservatively with Manuka honey and rest and I ordered these drops to see if they would help. I don't think they helped my puppy as she continued to progress with the cough and after 10 days of it not resolving, had to resort to the vet who prescribed antibiotics which cleared it up (so must have been either a secondary or primary bacterial cause). It was upper respiratory only - no lung infection or difficulty breathing, just hacking up froth at the beginning, followed by snottiness.I also gave the drops to my older adult dogs and they didn't catch KC from her, despite it being highly infectious. This may have helped, but it could have been due to their natural immunity as they both had KC as puppies, I don't use the nasal vaccine with my dogs as I don't find it makes a difference.So, I can't really recommend this as a remedy or preventative for Kennel Couch specifically, but it will probably help as a general support for the immune system so maybe worth a try.
