Works perfectly. Camera resolution is good, nice bright image. Installation was easy, no fuss no muss. It connects promptly ever time I shift into reverse. A nice safety addition to my ancient car and very helpful for my arthritic neck.

The media could not be loaded. I ordered the AUTO-VOX Digital Wireless Backup Camera with 5" HD Monitor to put on my Jeep Gladiator, I have a backup camera made by Auto-vox on my travel trailer that has been awesome so ordered this one for my truck, while I didn’t need it for the backup camera since my truck has one I choose to use this one as a front camera for trail riding, it's a big advantage to be able to see exactly what you are about to drive up on when out on trails being dirt or especially when it is rocks. Works perfectly for this application, the price point is way cheaper than buying the factory front camera. The distance lines are just as useful for the front as they are the back. The video is pretty clear at 480 x 272 considering what it is used for but I wish it was a 1080p, and the installation was a breeze, once power is on the camera just plug in the monitor and turn on and select find wifi camera and it’s done and ready to go. First thing I saw when opening the package is a notice that I could extend the warranty to 18 months and get technical support just by sending them the order ID number. That is a big plus to not have to buy a separate warranty. On my other camera I needed a solar panel replaced under warranty and they replied very fast and sent me a new one so I would expect nothing less than the same with this camera.

This was for an older truck that has a long bed and a cap. Install was easy. Image quality isn’t the best but it’s a) better than nothing and b) sufficient to prevent mishaps. I did not want to run a cable between the camera and screen and this prevented that.I would have preferred a better camera mount. I ended up buying one and using that. I also bought a 17mm ball mount that I could bolt to my dash. I removed the ashtray and stuck it there, I’m very happy with the install. For what I paid I’m very happy all around. 👍🏻

I have owned 12 Miata's in the past 16 years;aNA, NB,and two NC's. All great sport cars. But it is hard to backup with the top up on any of these cars. Answer; and Auto-Vox back up camera Auto-Vox is rated at te top of backup Camera. And I have owned four. They are a safty muct on these cars. Even to thepoint, when I sols my cars; i let the camera go with the car. I wanted the new owner to have the best camera on thier car. Auto-vox solar wireless backup are very easy to install, and no wires to run. The new one i jusst put on my latest Miata. is the Auto-Vov W-7 Great screen and outstanding camera. Great customer service, and always coming up with new models.

Long term review of my Auto-Vox W7 backup camera, it's been working without any problems since installed on my Honda Civic. Over the years I've bought and installed 7 (seven) Auto-Vox backup cameras, both wired and wireless models. Currently still have access to 5 vehicles that are going strong. Would buy these again due to price and reliability. The wireless models simplify installation and meet our needs. Cannot get used to driving in vehicles without backup cameras now.

Easy to install, its a great addition to my truck. The only issue is to be mindful that the visual width is limited fir a wider vehicle.

This is the 2nd unit I have bought from this company. I don't use it for a back up camera as my car has one. I bought the W7 to use on the rear of my snowmobile trailer. It's nice to see what is behind you on the road when your trailer blocks the view from your inside mirror. The prior unit I had, had a smaller screen, decided to go with one that was just a little larger. Easy enough to install. Since it will be running all the time I powered it by patching into the lic. plate light vs the back up light as instructions indicate. I just have to remember to turn on my low lights during the day so as to power up the trailer lights, thus the camera. I have contacted the company a few times on the prior unit as well as having a few questions prior to purchase of the new unit. Have always had a response the next business day (they are on Beijing time).

It was working ok. Picture was not the greatest quality but it worked good enough to see if someone was behind you. Then it stopped working completely. Checked the power coming to it and it was fine. It just would not turn on. Absolutely disappointed! No returns or refunds after 30 days. It was 30 plus 2 days since date of receiving it. Got in contact with them and they sent me another unit and I installed it and it is working great they even sent me an email checking on it to see if everything was OK again. Wow! Above and beyond!
