Good for the price, makes toasty sandwiches !
works great! Perfect size to make a hot sandwich. It is hot enough to even toast Keto bread and that's a feat in itself. small and easy to store and cleanup is a paper towel wipe. Made well and seems durable. Really like this little sandwich maker and easy enough for the kids to use.

Makes great sandwiches!
Nice sandwich maker and very user friendly for pre teens learning to make their own meals. My niece loves using this to make her lunches for school! It makes one sandwich at a time which works for us as there is only one child cooking at the moment. It is a good price and very functional. Pretty easy to clean as well.

Quick sammy
This is a great little gadget that makes crispy sandwiches with very little effort. I used to have a larger version one of these growing up, but it bit the dust long ago. It does the job, cleans up easily, and makes a quick lunch. It is a bit on the small side, so my bread doesn’t always fit perfectly. Also I tend to overfill my sandwich with lunch meat, so I have to actually hold down the lid while cooking or else it doesn’t come out right.

Love it.
I’m a big fan of all these mini gadgets. I’ve been using them for years as I’m an early adapted. This gets very hot very fast. My guilty pleasure is making White Castles in it…one at a time….PS. I see all the disgruntled reviews ans I have to agree about the size for a grilled cheese is ridiculous. It’s very very small however I have found most inexpensive alleged sandwich makers to be unsatisfactory. This one is good for little tidbits and snacks not sandwiches.

Hard to clean
There is a gap where cheese can leak into and it is very hard to clean.I had to unscrew the plastic to get the cheese out. (8 screws)It doesn't crimp the bread enough, so there is a lot of leakage. It also cooks unevenly. (Black in the center, uncooked around the edges.)Teflon started to come off only after three washes

Works ok
It works well it's a little slow to heat up but after the first one it's really fast the non stick works well but if you a bit of the butter taste on it I suggest using ether spray butter or butter the bread first

Half the time compared to on the stove
I bought this little sandwich maker because I was really craving grilled cheese sandwiches, but going through the effort to dirty up a whole pan seemed like a bit much (we didn't have water at the time thanks to a busted pipe). I saw this and thought my prayer was answered. When it came in, I was very excited, but I still didn't use it right away. We were having the pipe worked on and I couldn't clean it so I waited. When I finally got to use it, it kind of surprised me.For the money? I've used it every day so far (three days in a row) and I love the grilled cheese it makes. The value is worthwhile. With the machine closed and latched, you plug it in so it can pre-heat which takes about a minute. During this minute, you're supposed to prep your sandwich to go in. I am basic, so I use cheese and bread. It comes out light crisped (which I LOVE), but if you want it crispier, you can just open the machine and close it again and it will go for another round. I'd say about two minutes each. My boyfriend likes his sandwiches a little burnt, but I don't, so mine are done faster. In total, for me, my sandwich takes about 3 minutes from start to end for one, and when I make two sandwiches, I'd say it takes an extra 2 minutes. Cook time - The time to cook my sandwiches in this is much faster than on the stove. I'd say 2 minutes per sandwich, maybe 3 max. Longer if you want it extra crispy.Size - it's tiny. Think of your standard loaf of bread and it's probably a little bit bigger than that. It only fits one sandwich at a time, but that's perfect for me. Cleaning it, you just need water and a soapy cloth. It's pretty easy to go over it (when it is cooled down) and then dry it off.Heat level - It says not to hold your arm over it when you're opening the machine (because heat rises, of course) and it also says you should use a silicone tool and over mitts when you're working the machine. I use a silicone spoon to peel my sandwiches out, but the heat level hasn't made me use oven mitts yet. Obviously, be careful when you'r e handling the device either way.
