My friend is a big Bob Ross fan. Come birthday time I try to buy him something relevant and this is it. He loves it, therefore I love it and recommend it to Ross fans. Good quality for the price.

After watching 'The Joy of Painting' on TV and being an enthusiastic painter, I decided to purchase this little book. It is excellent as it gives a good biographic background about Bob's life and work - then it follows with copies of Bob's painting with a little saying on the opposite page.Whether you are interested in art or simply looking for a little 'wit and wisdom' to cheer up your day, then this is the book to buy. Love it so much I have ordered another copy for a friend.A beautiful book that I (and my friend) will treasure.

Lovely little book with many images of Bob's paintings. A little of his story and of course one of his quotable sayings accompanying each picture.

Anybody familiar with Bob Ross will probably know quite a few of his phrases already, but this collection provides a decent insight into this talented man. The book includes images of a lot of his paintings and these are inter-spaced with the quotes. If you are looking for guidance on how to produce paintings like his, then this book is not what you are looking for - there are others beautifully illustrated books in The Joy Of Painting Series with guidance notes on the market. This book is however a lot cheaper and provides a pleasant browse.

I have to make sure we have had our dinner at 6pm for me to be certain of sitting down to be enthralled by Bob Ross and his Painting series. I love his sense of humour and I realise he makes it look so easy, but he inspires me as I am sure many others - to bring my easel down from the loft and cannot wait to try out his unique style of landscapes which he appears to so willingly teach and "enjoy some fun" as he shares his skills with everyone who watches.I am sure he is still sadly missed, but he has left a legacy in sharing his artistic skills and wonderful ideas.Thank You Bob - Wild Flower Heather
