The only reason I did NOT mark this "higher" for durability and sturdiness is because I own 2 Rottweilers. I KNOW what they can do, and they would tear it apart in 3 seconds, unsupervised. However I taught them a FUN game with this ball. It is their "Special GENTLE ball" and they LOVE when they nose it and it vibrates or jumps around! ALWAYS supervise! Ours last because I am interacting with them and taught them to not "chomp" the ball hard. They literally CRY when I put this away! This is a great INTERACTIVE toy for you and your dog. (Also a GREAT way to SNEAK a training session in! "Take it...Leave it", "gentle" etc.) While the ball IS quite durable and my giant beast HAVE sneaked in some very HARD bites to it, it holds up and still jumps around. (They LOVE when it vibrates around in their mouth!!!) I think it tickles their brain and muzzle! LOL!

I didn't realize how much our 10 year old Golden Retriever would love this toy. He is obsessed with this thing lol. Love watching him play like a puppy again. Entertains himself with it. Very durable and easy to clean off after he plays with it. Wish I had got this for him sooner!Update - this was my dogs favorite toy. But it only lasted 1 month. The power button is broken. It charges and the LED light comes on when charging but the ball will no longer turn on. Great toy but doesnt last a month. Can’t recommend.

The media could not be loaded.  I purchased one ball to see if my dogs would even show interest in it due to the cost of the item. Both my dogs loved it so much I purchased two more! I have two of the small size and one large size; they play with both sizes equally. These balls keep them entertained for about 20-30 minutes before they try to start chewing on them. They will bite and pick them up before this time but not to the extent that I question their ability to destroy the balls.Pros: Durable construction. Variable settings to adapt to your pet's interest. Depending on the setting you choose, the ball will vibrate, bounce, roll or a combination of all three. Many times the ball has rolled from one end of our house to the other (On wood floor, approximately 70 feet!) with the dogs chasing the ball all over the house. Our pups play with these balls every evening before bed.Cons: This con is necessary to maintain the integrity of the product, but the ball is difficult to turn off/on and charge. It is difficult to insert the plug into the charging port as the hole is covered with material and you must penetrate the material to get the port inserted. This was not significant enough to prevent me from purchasing two more, but it may be difficult for anyone that may have limited dexterity in hands.

I want to start by saying I have two very strong chewers. I’m talking they go through their super chewer bark box toys in a day sometimes. That being said, I only allow them to use this ball when I can make sure theyre not totally going to town trying to destroy it. It holds up to many many puncture holes well, but I wouldn’t leave a dog like mine to it alone.Awesome toy, sturdy, fun, keeps their attention. My dutch shepard loves to hold it in her mouth while it goes crazy. My husky is still scared of it but thats a him problem.My only complaint is that the motion is mostly a vibrating bounce movement with very little rolling. I’d love it to roll more… I think both my dogs would be more interested in chasing instead of chewing if it did.

The dog loved the ball but the charger stem bent and it couldn’t charge. I ordered replacement charger and it has been 25 days still waiting for chargers. The company also didn't reply to a service request. The item is sold in California but comes from a co in China I guess because when I track the order it is sitting on a container. The price is expensive for the service you get.

My dog chewed this thing to bits the DAY we gave it to her, she loved it and it was fun to watch her play with it. We thought it would be more durable and last at least longer than day of.

I loved the idea of the interactive dog toy, but was worried it might not hold up to a heavy chewer. I bought one for my 90lbs older lab mix for Xmas and he loved it - when it would move, he would follow, when it would vibrate he would hold it in his mouth (making us all laugh out loud). Zeke's 'cousin' Pretzel is a very heavy chewer and I was afraid he would destroy this toy but let him play with it anyway. To my surprise and delight, it showed no signs of being destroyed. I sent Pretzel his own and he loves it just as much as Zeke. Setting the speed is a little confusing (you press a lit up bone icon on top of the ball), top speed makes the ball run around continuously, with intermittent vibrations, where as lower speeds tend to move or vibrate when the ball is touched. High speed works up to about four hours, low speed lasts about all day per charge. Recharge can take as little as a half hour. Highly recommend this toy.

Keeps them busy, entertained and so easy to use. This is a must!
