No More Eloping
My son elopes (runs away) on a very regular basis. It is super dangerous for him and scary for me as a mom. We tried so many other options before we found this one. It works perfect for us since it locks. It was very easy to install and the quality is great. The only issue I have is that there is a groove in the piece that is pushed up and if that isn't lined up properly, you can't lock it. Not a big issue, just sometimes a pain.

Security, good looking and a good price.
These are terrific. I've had them on patio doors in other houses. I've looked for better options but us there are none. They're also great for little kids not being able to get out to the pool or a second story deck without someone with them. We ordered 3 last time for our new house and had a problem with a retainer clip on 1 unit. The company sent another one right away with no problem at all. Easy install too.

Note bolt protrusion in open position
The product seems sturdy and is easy to install. However, the bolt protrudes quite a bit in the open position. For most installs this won't matter. But my slider was installed backwards so I needed to allow space for the bolt sticking out.
