Amazing purchase
Absolutely loved building this, you will definitely need to take your time but it's totally worth it once complete. I spent abt 37 hours in totally. Tho one thing I'd recommend is getting a small peice of sandpaper to smooth out some small parts but other than that it does come with everything you need

Takes a lot of time and patience
I got this for my daughter's birthday as she is in love with one piece and wanted the thousand sunny on her dresser but this ended up being a monumental project. You need fine painting brushed for everything and it will take you a lot of time and dedication to complete it. Good luck

Waste of time and money. Buy the Lego Going Merry instead
This is a nice model, except that it’s too small (means small parts like the rope lines - which are plastic as opposed to thread - break easily), some small parts cannot withstand the pressure needed to snap them together. I ended up using glue. Worst feature: all of the instructions are in Japanese. I missed a bunch of steps and couldn’t figure a few steps out, and they’re not all laid out sequentially. Also - all of the figurines of the crew (the whole reason I bought this set instead of another less expensive one) are UNPAINTED. I knew this, but I didn’t realize how small they are. So they’re still in the box. I definitely do not recommend this set. The Lego Going Merry is much nicer. Go for that instead.

Horrible to assemble
This is a nightmare to try to build! Unless you have small hands and dexterity of a surgeon along with being able to read Japanese do not bother. Stickers that don’t line up, small pieces, string that is impossible to tie, and the people are not painted.

Came with a broken box and a crack in the plastic of the boat. We still try to build it and make it work. Item itself is great product
