Used this actuator (needed due to speed of stroke) with an "idealWIN Forward Reverse Switch Working Voltage DC5V to 48V, Linear Actuator 12v Remote Switch of Current Rating 10A, Remote Control Distance168 ft,for Linear Actuator,Winch Solenoid Relay Contactor." to make remote controlled bow mount (modified stern mount) trolling motor. Relocated the trolling motor speed controller and wiring to a waterproof Control box (waterproof storage box).

I purchased this for use in an escape room prop. The actuator is used to raise a hinged lid on a piano when a certain key combination is pressed. My only comment is that it is a bit noisy. However, the sound is actually a plus for the prop effect in this case. People hear the actuator start then watch as the piano lid slowly rises!

Hooked it up to 12v and it extended but would not retract after reversing wires. Same problem another reviewer had. Returned for refund.

so far so good, it works as described. I have been using it on my Kayak to control my Rudder for steering. I have used it twice for a five hour run each time no problems.

This is working good to open and close the door to my chicken coop at dawn and dusk. We'll see how it holds up over the winter.

Worked fine and much faster than the original one that I ordered. Could be quieter
