Fun and educational
This is is terrific! Bought this for my granddaughter as a education toy. She recently is into the Skelton system and this didn’t disappoint. She had fun taking it apart and they putting it together. Also, a plus is that you can assemble it again for her brother to try. She is 11 and having her little brother watch her take it apart and then put together is awesome! He is 8 and I think the perfect age for this also. It is well made and the directions are clear. Try it for you little ones.

Best gift!!
My kids love to dig and get messy!! These were perfect because it was more of a thick Jelly and not messy whatsoever! It broke in large pieces and no tiny excess mess! I'd prefer these over anything!!Great quality and I love that they can put the frog together again and even put it back in the gel if they chose to do so!

Great reusable toy for the future vet
This was a big hit with my kid for Christmas who wants to be a vet. I love that it can be also be reusable and not a one time toy.

Mixed feelings.
My kids like science, so I jumped on this synthetic frog dissection kit when I saw it on Vine. The gel-like material that forms the frog’s external parts is a fantastic substitute for frog skin and flesh, and cutting into it was somewhat similar to working with real dissections, though far less stinky and much safer. There’s also instructions and powder to recreate the frog for a second dissection, which is awesome. The skeleton is reasonably well done with separate, but connecting, pieces for the skull, jaw, spine, back legs, front legs, and pelvis. The skull is flat, and the jaw is pink and solid, but it works, I guess. Then there’s the matter of the organs, and this is where I just frowned in disappointment. Apparently, according to National Geographic, frog has a “brain and eyes” part, lungs, heart, stomach, and “lower organs.” I do understand why brain and eyes were lumped together, though I’m mildly disappointed that the eyes are just round lumps on the brain piece. I have no issue with the lungs, heart, and stomach pieces. However, the “lower organs” is a pink circle with gaps for the other pieces to connect. There is no indication of large or small intestines or the bladder, which I would expect to be included in most anatomical models just as they’re included in most anatomical posters of the body. Of course, there’s no mention of the gallbladder, kidneys, liver, or pancreas either. I wouldn’t outright expect the frog to have sex organs, given that can be a trigger for some folks, but I would not want my kids learning anatomy from a frog that doesn’t even have labeled intestines. The included booklet goes into more detail on several frog organs, including most of the organs they failed to list in the anatomical model. I have to say that I didn’t know that frogs couldn’t vomit or that they could eject their stomach for wiping before swallowing it back if they do need to remove something they had eaten. It’s a good booklet. However, this is a science kit for dissection, and I just don’t feel right giving an anatomical model of a frog with no intestines a great review.

Great present for a curious kid/preteen
Got this for my 8 year-old nephew's birthday and he loved it. A really unique and exciting present for a kid that loves to play with bugs and reptiles. I like that it comes with a refill so he can play with it more than once.
