Excellent
I bought this adaptor because, I no longer have a PC. I use a number of SD cards, and CF cards for my Nikon Camera. I also use Pen Drives. This has managed to read them all, without issue. Transfering files to my Samsung Tablet, Phone and to Google Photos, without issue and with a high rate of speed. The use of using my Pen Drives, was a pleasant surprise. I can only say, how pleased and satisfied I am about this small, but efficient device is.

Works OK but it was very slow.
I found this device chronically slow taking about 11 and a half hours to move about 780 Gbs of data to a Sandisk Ultra 1.5 Tb micro SD card. Is that normal? With my Seagate portable drives, using the same port, it takes about 3 hours. Anyway, it did the job and I left it overnight, and my computer seems to read files from the card, including large video files, just as well as from the portable drive or the computer's hard drive. The other thing I found annoying was that if you use the USB C plug you have to plug the USB plug into a USB port on the back of the USB C plug; this makes for a very long and cumbersome plug, which just gets in the way, especially with my ultra small format computer. It surely must be technically possible to have a dual leads.Anyway, it did only cost £9.99 (NB: not the £8.49 that it is advertised at at the time of writing this - another annoyance), so not really even close to a disaster. It does the job albeit slowly.

Works great and you can't beat the price
It works great and you can't beat the price! It was recognized, with no effort, by Windows 11 right off the bat. It handled a good CF card without problem. It handled a good SD card without problem. It handled a good microSD card with a bit of effort. Here, I'll mention the microSD slot is a bit finicky, which is why I docked a star on "Easy to use". It did work, with a minimal amount of effort. It even helped me recover data off a defective CF card. So, high points for that one!If you're still reading, this is the story of why I chose the product and a blow-by-blow of my experiences with this device...I recently moved to a new PC. I didn't want to waste a 5 1/4" bay and litter my new PC with old, seldom-used technology. However, I did have a couple of mystery CF cards from my early digital photography days. Also, I wanted to play a little with a Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W, so I knew I might need to play with microSD cards a bit.I didn't want to spend much on a solution! This little device helped on that count. I was very dubious about seeing any value for such a low price. I was pleasantly surprised that my doubts were unfounded.First off, I connected it to my new Windows 11 PC. The device was recognized right away with zero hassle and zero hunting for drivers.Next, I put a CF card in there and it was recognized, but had some definite problems.I was worried that this new device was bad, so I used a different card. No problems with the second card. It worked like a charm. The device was good!It seems the first CF card was defective! Though, thankfully, I was able to limp along long enough to get the majority of the data off of it.Later, I finally got around to purchasing a Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W with a microSD card.I downloaded the Raspberry Pi imager for Windows. However, I was again dubious that a random program, writing a system disk for a different OS, would work with such an inexpensive device. I was, once again, pleasantly surprised to see that my doubts continued to be unfounded.I struggled a little with the TF slot on the device ultimately opting to use a microSD to SD adapter that came with the card. It mounted seamlessly in the SD slot. The Raspberry Pi imager then worked flawlessly with the device.I suspect, if I'd been a bit more patient, the microSD card probably would have mounted in the intended slot. No, problem for me, either way.So, bottom line, this inexpensive little device exceeded my expectations, which were (admittedly) almost non-existent :)It allowed me to easily accomplish all of the tasks for which I purchased it. I'm very happy with my purchase and would recommend it to anyone.I guess I may just be the doubting sort, since now I've moved onto doubting it will last long. Though, honestly, if it lasts, that's great! If not, at this price, its almost disposable. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another :)Hope your experience is similarly good!

Prima kaartlezer, aanrader.
Helemaal tevreden.
