Great way to diagnose pool issues
I noted that my pool’s flow seemed low but couldn’t quantify it. I tried by measuring the flow with a bucket coming out of the spa overflow to pool. It seemed much too low and so I wasn’t confident it was correct.This product was perfect as it fit into an existing check valve location. Took moments to install and it immediately showed my bucket calculation was close.Next day my pool guy ran a quick backwash and I could see a 50% increase in flow! I have a heated indoor pool and was on a regular filter cleaning schedule but this now shows it needs more frequent backwashing and filter cleaning.Also can now see priming flow rate and check this against the pump curves in the manual for the variable speed pump.
