Great product, differently grinded which allows to play with thickness
I have bough the product in March , but used it only now as tried other brands. This one seems grinded differently, maybe finer as mentioned in another review , which I appreciated a lot, as able to make it more dense -paste like and less watery- this way it doesn't start leaking minutes after being put on the hair, which creates enormous mess of blue jets all over the neck and clothes, as everyone who has tried probably knows. This time the application wasn't that messy, as the differently grinded powder allowed my to create suitable texture more easily. Obtained black jet colour , which I was aiming for. The result on the picture is from 2 days ago, once the hair washed again it will probably fade a little. Will make an update for the duration of the colour. To obtain this coverage I always do the double dye- coloured my hair with henna first, that way the grays are almost 100% covered later.

Excellent Dye release
I accidentally turned my hair ginger /red with bleach , I was trying to go red with henna. When I put the henna on top (another brand) it just turned a darker orange, and not red as the pack claimed . I know henna can vary, depending on the shade of your hair , so I put it down to that . It looked terrible , so I needed to darken it. That’s when this indigo powder came in. I could tell as soon as I mixed it the dye release was great. My tissue test turned blue so did other items it came into contact with. My hair looks a lovely blacknow. I will be ordering more to get to a jet black/ blue black colour . Thank you for the swift delivery , I was able to fix my hair naturally the next day . I’ve been using henna and indigo for 15 years and this was one of the good experiences. Sometimes the dye release isn’t great as I’ve tried many brands . This one was one great . Im allergic to regular/ chemical dyes ; I had no reaction to this .

Good product if used correctly.
Genuine product. I have used it twice, first time I used a little hot water to mix it with and it seemed to release the indigo better than with cold. I added a tiny bit of Glycerine to make it sticky for application. Leave on for 60 mins for better results. Good for a boost if you have little grey (I used a mainstream product previously that was a wash in wash out after 8 washes, that didn't wreck my hair. I cannot get it anymore, probably due to the pandemic. So much has been cut back. I recently used a 24 wash in and wash out product for brown hair which lost me my natural brown glow, grrrrr. I also use a super drug henna shampoo (a German make) for ease but it only comes in shades of red - well der it is henna after all and they don't do the indigo one). Makes your hair well conditioned always though.I am wondering if it would be better to use this product differently: when I was a teenager in the 70's Mum and I used to cake the Henna and indigo powder mixes on our hair, cover our heads in tin foil, then use a hair dryer to heat the mix. Believe me the results were strong! I once did just indigo and I ended up with black hair! We had punks in those days but I felt like a goth! So I had to use the red henna all over again! I think when I have time I will use the tin foil method!

Henna Colour Correction
I used this for colour correction 5 and a half weeks after using a 'light brown' henna mix which had left me with copper/auburn hair. As my hair is naturally light brown to dark blonde I only let it sit on my hair for 20 minutes as I didn't want to go too dark. I mixed the indigo with warm water in a Pyrex bowl with a silicone spatula. I wasn't sure how much water to use so I filled the empty packet to rinse out any remaining indigo powder and that seemed to be enough. I applied it to my roots first then added some conditioner to the mixture to dilute it before applying it to my mid-lengths and ends as I didn't want an all-over shade. I wanted it to look like my natural hair colour which is darker at the roots with sun-lightened ends. Diluting with conditioner also helped to ensure that the 50g of indigo covered all of my hair which is halfway down my back. If your hair is of a similar length and you want 100% coverage and a darker shade I would recommend getting 100g. I washed it out in the shower using conditioner. The process worked perfectly and I now have light ash brown hair that is darker at the roots and a much lighter ash blonde at the ends with great condition and shine.

I love itttt
Game changer since i stop using the colours gor my hair. I first apply heena and then next day i just mix this indigo powder with warm water and leave it for 10-15 minutes and then apply it on my hair and wash after 3-4 hours , this leaves my hair turning black , no grays visible and the good thing is that its all natural

Beautiful Black hair colour, complete coverage of greys.
I just left the review for the Evenea Naturals Henna and gave it 5 stars. Again, for the indigo, as soon as I opened the packet and saw the bright green powder and smelled how fresh it was, I knew this was the good stuff!I have naturally very dark brown/black 3C/4A (afro) hair, and wanted to cover my greys. My greys are completely gone, using the Evenea naturals henna, as the compulsory first step and then following up with the indigo step.To successfully cover your greys, my tips would be:1) make sure your hair is CLARIFIED clean. I just used a basic, non-conditioning shampoo to wash my hair before-hand.2) The henna step needs to be 4 hours.3) Wash the henna out completely with warm water only, not shampoo or conditioner, to ensure your hair is still clean for the the indigo step.4) Give your indigo 4 hours in your hair. wash out with just water, air dry and wait a further 24 hours before rinsing out with conditioner. This is what worked for me, my greys are completely gone and my natural brown/black hair colour is beautifully restored.I'm definitely re-ordering!
