Works great! A super way to change power especially on a monitor. From standard pc power cable to a monitor that now uses an ac adapter.

I have accumulated a stash of PC power cords and was contemplating replacing the end so to make then usable like a short extension cord. Then discovered these adapters and they work great! Cheaper than cutting off the PC connector end and replacing with a 3-prong replacement plug from Home Depot.

If it's the adapter you need, it works like a champ. If it's not the adapter you need, there will be no end to the depths of your disappointment.

Purchased them for a ship cruise trip. It can turn a 15ft or longer computer monitor power cable, for which I purchased separately, into an extension cord! Separately they are just two pieces with acceptable legal use being brought on board your cruise. But put together, Cruise lines don't allow any extension cords to be used as they claim a possible fire hazard. Not to sound too deceptive. My real reason was to plug in a Ryobi dual power fan that must use the end connection of an extension cord to work.

I'm using these to add a regular outlet at the end of a bunch of daisy-chained DMX lights that use IEC male and female connectors. As long as I don't overload the circuit it should be fine. This is a bit of an oddball connector so it costs more than it should in my opinion. I wish they were cheaper in 5,6 or 10-packs. When you need it you need it so I paid the price.

Works great for a pedalboard. Wish IEC connectors locked better.

These are great for mobile musicians/DJs. I travel with many extra IEC power cables, and this adapter turns any of them into a normal AC extension cord (which has come in very handy on a number of occasions). The adapters feel solid, and I’ve not experienced any issues using them.
