Q: Can I use it with car seat protector? This looks very heavy and I am worried about damaging my car seat.

We don't recommend using any car seat protector under the car seat. The car seat itself weighs only 4kg, so it shouldn't do any damage.

Q: Is the depth really only 37cm?does this seem smaller than other seats ?

Yes, the depth is 37cm but this car seat doesn't have an Isofix base, so doesn't need any extra space for this. Thank you.

Q: Would people recommend this for as young as 9 months. My son is over the 9kg recommendation im just thinking more for comfort as it doesn’t recline?

This definitely wouldn’t be safe for a 9 month old I’m afraid. As much as it’s legally allowed, there isn’t much support for them so baby may be rather slouched, and there’d be a risk of chin to neck especially asleep which may make it a little bit hard to breathe. Also the impact of a crash in this seat would cause internal decapitation due to impact on the neck. The older the child gets, the lower this risk is, id say absolute minimum 2 years old but ideally at least age 4 as that’s when a child’s bones are fused to be able to handle the impact better. I recommend you look at some forward facing/rear facing crash test videos so you can see what I mean, and I’d suggest a rear facing seat for baby for now. If you need a budget friendly one, a joie tilt or joie steadi can be bought between £50-£70 when on offer. These ones can be both forward and rear facing so easy to change when you’re ready. And can be bought on the Argos card too to spread the cost. Hope this helps. X

Q: Why does this say 9kg plus but the video says 15kg plus

Little ones can be forward facing from 9kg. But it's not recommended, rear facing for as long as possible. (although some kids /babies are just tall!) This then becomes a high back booster after the use of the intrigrated straps are out grown. And then a booster seat. So should last till like 11 years old or when your kid hits the right hight to be with out.

5 point belt only usable up to 105cm

Item itself looks nice and my little one said it was comfortable. However, I bought it to replace my rear facing seat and liked it because of the seat being able to be secured to the seat using the seatbelt and the child being secured with the 5 point harness, yet this is only up to 105cm, which is how tall my child is already. Going to look into iso fix options and return
