VOTATU V3 Fiber Optic Offset Iron Sight - 45 Degree Angled Flip Up Sights Front and Rear Backup Sites with Green Red Dot for Picatinny Mount, Spring-Loaded and Tool-Less Adjustment

My first impressions are that these sights are much nicer than the other budget options out there. Pros: Great design. Square lug for positive engagement of the picatinny slot. Light weight. Budget friendly. Ascetically pleasing. Robust and sturdy. Cons: I can't mount the rear sight under the rear of an LPVO because it makes access to the deploy button nearly impossible. The elevation adjustment wheel has too much tolerence to move up and down inside the cut out for it. The front sight post is threaded and flat on one side and unless the set screw is nearly fully engaged it allows the sight to rotate slightly left or right while adjusting, a channel cut through the threads of the sight post for the set screw would have been better, or maybe a pin through the sight post and a slot cut clear through it allong with stronger detent on the wheel with no set screw at all, for truly tool free field adjustments. No torque values for mounting or MOA values for each click of adjustment, no instructions at all. It seems like there are more cons than pros but like I said I am very impressed with these sights and they are much better built than other comparable ones in their price range. These are just my opinions and feedback for you and Votatu. I hope Votatu makes a gen2 of these sights. I'll add an update when I get to put them through their paces.

Put this on my AR15 at a 45 degree and sighted in very easy! Started at 30 yrds and moved back to 100 yrds (making small adjustments) and still nailed the steel target.

Don't let the brand throw you off. Do your research, read reviews on Votatu. THese sights are rock solid, easy deploy, and stay put and true. Don't hesitate to add these as a backup to your optic

So far I have purched 3 of these sights and all have held up. One set is on a 50 Beowulf. Less rounds on that one but has held strong. Only complaint is the fiber optic can be a bit hard to see at times, but that is not an issue for me. As a whole I have been pleased with producted from Votatu

So far awesome set of 45* offset back up sights. Bought for my home defense ar15 pistol with a red dot for backup night sights incase battery goes dead and look and work awesome . Everyone thats seen em and looked through em on my rifle loves them and 2 have bought some for themselves.

TL;DR: The button to flip these sites up is on the inside (top) of the front & rear sites which makes it not useable if mounting the rear site under your scope. The reason many people are looking for offset iron sites like these are because their top rail has a larger optic on it. My scope is already mounted far back, but I thought the rear site mount would fit between it and the rail, which it barely does. However, the button to activate these sites is on the inside/top, which, for the rear on my rifle, is blocked by the scope. The only way I could use the rear site is to move it forward ~12 inches in front of the scope, thus closing the gap between the front & rear sites to under 9 inches. While better than nothing, I might as well be firing a pistol. These are otherwise pretty solid irons, so I will move them to another rifle where they might be easier to activate.

I wasn't sure what to expect when I ordered these, but I was very pleased when they arrived and I installed them. They are very easy to install, easy set up and they seem to be really durable. I am very happy with the purchase.
