Relaxes your body and mind
My mother loved this gift for Mother’s Day as she has lots of pain and soreness she goes through. She said these flakes make her feel wonderful and relaxes her whole body when taking a bath! She also expressed that it does also make her feel a little sleepy after getting out of the bath so that’s something to keep note of. This product definitely helps with aches and pains. If your pain is too severe, then I’m not sure how the product will work for you.

Works great for muscle cramps
After I spent three solid weeks waking at night with horrible leg cramps, I sought solutions. Coincidentally, I had a routine doctor's appointment a few weeks after the problem started, so I talked to her about it. She recommended tonic water because of the quinine, which I bought immediately, but after three days I couldn't tell a difference. I kept taking it, but I also did a little research and decided to order the pure magnesium flakes. With Prime shipping, the jar arrived in less than 24 hours, on Mother's Day Sunday, no less! I immediately dissolved the flakes in warm water, about half and half by volume, though I made it more concentrated for the second batch, and started rubbing the solution over the affected area and elsewhere on my skin. Apparently the magnesium is absorbed well through the skin, and by the third morning later, no more cramping! I have continued using the product several times a day, and I'm still pain-free three weeks later. (I stopped taking tonic water so I feel certain it's the magnesium that made the difference.) It makes sense when you think about it. Magnesium is the same stuff trainers use on athletes, who are always pulling muscles. The reason I wanted to go the topical route is because I already take magnesium orally, but you can only take so much without risking digestive problems. The magnesium solution is commonly called "magnesium oil." Though it's not an oil, the liquid has a slippery feel when wet and has a slightly tacky sensation when dry. There is no odor, no greasiness and no sensitivity whatsoever, and I completely forget that it's on! I make a point to generously apply it three or four times a day where I experienced the original pain, and will probably continue using it as part of my daily regimen now, as it must be a mineral I need.

more relaxing than epsom salts
I have been using epsom salts, baking soda and lavender essential oil in my biweekly baths for almost a year-Its a great way to relax, detox, restore your skin's ph and makes me sleep like a baby.I started using this kind of magnesium, hearing it was more potent and readily absorbed into the body-I haven't had any issues with the flakes not dissolving quickly enough...I can tell its much more effective as I am more relaxed than usual and have noticeably more energy the following morning. I seriously have done many lifestyle changes that could have added to my overall boost in health and energy-but I know how integral magnesium is to processing all my other healthy improvements.I wish I had gotten my magnesium levels checked so I could state a before and after... I also rub Life flo brand magnesium oil on my skin daily.I will be using this magnesium to make my own oil and lotions to maximize my total absorptionI have purchased this several times now and intend to continue using it as I don't want to lack sufficient magnesium in my body.Great product., I definitely recommend it and especially suggest pregnant women use more magnesium products topically. Its one of the main things I have added since my first pregnancy and I can't tell you how great I feel at 5 months pregnant-or how fast my morning sickness disappeared after I began its use a month in.

Number 1 Brand of Magnesium Flakes!!!
These are THE best magnesium flakes! I’ve been using this brand to aide with the inflammation and pain from an accident I was in years ago. They really help with the pain and reducing the inflammation. Best ever!:)

Relax and Renew
If you’re going to use the magnesium flakes, you wanna make sure you drink lots of water. Of 20 minutes is likely enough when you get out of the soak your body literally is sheathing water. It may also make your heart race a little. If so, get out before 20 minutes. It’s great for relaxing in a spa. These flakes are absolutely the best!

Only complaint, is I wish it came in a larger size. This stuff is AWESOME!!
After frequenting the Magnesium Advocacy Group on Facebook, I decided to give this stuff a try. The files section of this particular fb group had recipes for making Magnesium Oil and it was really simple. I tried this stuff both in a soaking bath on a blow-up mat that one would use for swimming (which made the bathtub much more comfortable), as well as in the Mag Oil, which I think I prefer. I'm just not much of a bath person. I will be buying more of this stuff, as a lot of recipes for not only Mag Oil but lotions, as well, which I think would make great gifts for friends and family. I suffer from back/sciatica pain and this has helped with my pain, as well as leg cramps.I only wish this came in a bigger size. I have heard of others using Ice Melt in place of stuff like this; however, after careful research, I found out that most of those come from the Great Salt Lake, which is full of mercury and other pollutants. I prefer this stuff, as it is more pure than others I found, during my research.
